INTRODUCTION

Hello Steemians and fellow Nigerians, i am so delighted making my post entry of #thecountryculturechallenge. There was a post announcement for Nigerian representatives for #thecountryculturechallenge or #nigeriacreativity by @beautychicks and @focusnow, if you missed that post you can visit it here. So i am going to be representing Nigeria in the aspect of Essey writing and in this post, i will be talking about Nigeria; My Country My Pride.

NIGERIA; MY COUNTRY MY PRIDE

Nigeria my country was born on 1st October, 1960. Though use to be under the colonial masters, but became officially independent on October 1st, 1960. And we celebrate our freedom every year, just as we are going to have another celebration come October 1st, 2020.

Nigeria may not be a perfect country to live in, of which i know there is no perfect country anywhere. Though i am yet to tour other countries, which i will do soonest, but i have overheard my brothers in other countries make this statement 'NO PLACE LIKE HOME', and indeed there is no place like my home Nigeria. Going by statistics, Nigeria is about 2.64% of the world population. With several ethnic groups, but with 3 main recognised tribe (Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa)
I am proud to be a Nigerian; Our natural resources, agricultural produce, our weather condition, the hardworking beautiful people etc has no comparison.

WHY NIGERIA IS MY PRIDE:

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES:
Nigeria being one of the African Developing Countries, has whole lots of investment opportunities for both citizens and foreigners. Nigeria is open to investors from all parts of the world, and each an every investor that had visited Nigeria from other countries has never regretted it an inch.

GOOD WHETHER CONDITION:
Nigerian whether is nice compared to some other countries. Over here we don't experience winter nor summer. Our whether condition is so comfortable to any kind of skin colour.

NATURAL RESOURCES:
Nigeria is blessed with whole lots of natural resources, ranging from oil to agriculture. Over the years Nigeria had been the leading country in oil manufacturing, even currently our agricultural sector has been doing amazingly beautiful.

NO NATURAL DISASTER:
Nigeria hardly experience some natural disasters that we hear happening in other countries such as earthquakes, flood, hurricane, tsunami, tornadoes and the likes.

OPEN AND ACCOMMODATING:
Nigeria is one country I know that welcomes foreigners with open hand. I have never seen or heard that any foreigner was arrested for
residential permit, never have i heard that their movement was restricted due to one or two things. Nigeria is a friendly country.

GOOD FOOD:
I found out that no country's food around the world can be compared to Nigerian food. Most of our brothers that travelled to different parts of the world would always testify that there is no place like home. We have different good varieties of food.

BEAUTIFUL SPECIAL PLACES OF TOUR:
Nigeria has some beautiful special places of tour and relaxation such as the likes of Lagos Beach and Obudu Mountain Resort; If you want to know more about Obudu Mountain Resort you can refer to here.

ENTREPRENEURAL MINDSET:
Nigerians are entrepreneurs in making. That is why no matter the recession, Nigerian citizens will always find a way to survive. There is no jobs in Nigeria, but we create businesses and jobs out of nothing. Nigerians are so creative, there is no line of profession you cannot find a Nigeria doing well in it, ranging from medicine, sports, music, engineering, business, education etc. There is virtually no country in the world you can't find a Nigerian. No matter how hard it is for people to survive in such country, a Nigerian will go there and come back with success story.

Nigeria; my country my pride. There is no place like home.

Thank you for reading through my post.

@beautychicks and @focusnow this is my entry.
