Introduction

We are really excited to see all the amazing work the Steemit team are doing to promote this platform and attract new users. We say a hearty thank you @steemitblog. The marketing efforts are top-notch.

We usually check @steemitblog every morning and we did today. As usual, we found this surprising invitation to apply for Steemit branded T-shirts and that is the purpose of this post. We are officially applying for the T-shirts for our Admin made up of 6 members, If we get more than 6, we give to our community members. We hope to be considered as a new community marketing Steemit and be included in the privileged few that will get the stock. First, Here is why we need it and what we will do with it.

Why we need branded T-shirts.

Before now, we have plans to make branded T-shirts and face caps for our members like this. But currently, we have immediate things to do with the little funds available. A branded T-shirt is a powerful marketing tool. When you see such a branded portfolio, you want to know what company they represent and what it is all about. Without saying a word, or even approaching people personally, T-shirts with write-ups speak for you from a distance. Additionally, going in a brand's uniform adds to the business image. So we dearly need these T-shirts to spread the word and get new users.

What we will do with the branded T-shirts.

1. We will put on the T-shirts any time we are attending meetups, seminars and other public events. We hope to start running weekly trainings to onboard new users. We will put on the shirts to look complete as a Steemit representative.
2. Once restrictions have been lifted for public gatherings, we will plan rallies where we walk through the city and attract attention from onlookers. We will print fliers and hand out to people during such rallies. Having this T-shirt during such rallies will go a long way to show people that we mean business and represent an international brand.

For these and other reasons, we sincerely hope to put the T-shirts to good use and turn it into a powerful marketing tool if we get them.
