Report for Day 1 of the steemit Seminar held at Federal University Wukari Taraba State Nigeria by @simonnwigwe
Introduction
Hello guys,
I want to sincerely appreciate my fellow steemians who have made this day one seminar a success. Your constant support and words of encouragement really made me more stronger and that has made this program a success.
I want to special mention those who stood by me to see that this program comes to reality, @focusnow the leader and admin of @steemalive community a.k.a our oga at the top, I great you sir. @whitestallion leader and admin of @campusconnectnigeria a.k.a youngest billionaire in the house I salute you sir. @ngoenyi country representative and also leader in @steemwomen & @steemfood africa, our able and capable Uyo city coordinator, Mama you too much. I will not forget @josepha and @yakspeace for their continuous support towards the success of this program.

Summary of all that was taught today
The seminar was proposed to start by 9:00am but due to some circumstances beyond our control we started the seminar at exactly 10:00am.
Today's topic of discussion covers just two part that is
- Introduction to steemit
- Signing up of new users
The seminar was really an interesting one because it was an interactive seminar. I was not the only person talking. I was able to explain steemit using a simple but very concise definition.
Steemit is an article / post writing platform that offers you financial rewards based on upvotes and curation, it's also an investment platform where you can invest via steempower SP.
A lot of explanation was made here based on some questions that was raised by the participant of this amazing program. We were able to answer all the questions and clarity was given. Most of them never had ideas about crypto currency so I was able to introduce them into the crypto world by mention some of the basic crypto currencies we have.
Myself while delivering lecture about steemit
A total of 27 people where present at the seminar today. And from this number, we were able to signup a total of 19 persons. There username are listed below.

After successful signing up
After the successful signing up I was able to lead them through a little tutorial as to how they can write their introduction post. Some of which where able to write and complete it, and I showed them how to make their first post explaining all the tags needed. But the others were unable to finish theirs so we agreed to continue tomorrow since there was no much time on our side.
Conclusion
I want to sincerely appreciate God Almighty for making todays program a success. After the entire program for today fliers where still distributed to as many that came for the program so that they will give to other people who weren't in the program and also we have advice them that as they come tomorrow they shouldnt come alone. So we are expecting more people from tomorrow. For lack of finance we where unable to have refreshment in today's program but we are hoping that there will be assistant from friends and fellow steemians to help us promote steemit here in federal university wukari and beyond.

Wow, this is massive. What a positive results! You see that most people are yet to hear about steemit. Promoting steemit is a very wonderful thing to do.
