Introduction

Greetings to my friends and esteemed curators.Trust you all are fine.I am glad majority of steemians especially Steemalive members are actively embracing the #club5050 initiative and even #club75 and #club100.It is step in the right direction and it will continue to get even better.Myself,I am not left behind.I have powered up all my earnings in the recent weeks.I have powered up a total of 2660 in 7 days.This power up is almost '10 times' my earnings in the last 7 days.

It is no longer news to know that powering up means staking our liquid steem to SteemPower. Powering up is a very important strategy on Powering means changing your rewards to SteemPower or making all your rewards in be in SteemPower.

How Can I Power Up

There are two basic ways to Power up.One is automatic while the other will require going to wallet to initiate it.

Method One

The first method of powering up is automatic.It involves setting your author rewards to 100 % power up.With this arrangement,all your reward would be payed as SteemPower.That is why I called it automatic Powerup.

Method Two

The second method of power up involves setting your post reward to 50% SBD/50 SP.In this way you can be getting liquid rewards of SBD which you will change to Steem and then power it up.If you change all your Sbd reward to Steem and then power it up.Then you are in #club5050 provided you didn't make any transfer.

How Can I get Steem to Power up with

There are several ways one can get steem to power up to join either #club5050, #club75 or #club100.Lets look at the ways.

•Through Contests
One can get steem by participating in contests.When you participate in a contest,you stand chances of getting Steem or Sbd rewards which would be used for power up.

•Through Cash
One can also get steem through using cash(fiat) to buy steem from Exchanges and then power it up.New users on Steemit can buy steem with cash and then power it up to join any of the #clubs.

•Swapping with Other Assets
One can also get steem by converting his TRX,SBD and other crypto assets to Steem and then power it up.

Why Do I need to Power up

The need to power up cannot be over emphasized.Infact Powering up is a very important thing on Steemit.You get votes because the curator powered up,if a curator has no SteemPower,it is impossible to vote anyone.Lets see some of the reasons why powering is very important.

•1.)Grow the Users SteemPower
Powering up invloves staking out steem to SteemPower.This process increases the SteemPower of the user.For example,if i have 200 steem, Powering it up will increase my present SteemPower by 200 SP.

•2.)To Support other Authors
When one powers up enough SteemPower.He will use it to vote other authors post.One of the biggest motivation on Steemit is getting votes as reward.So when we power up,we can motivate other authors by curating their post.If we all power up,we can easily support newbies to build their SteemPower and to keep them motivated.

•3.)Earn Curation Rewards
Another reason to power up is that it enables the user to get curation rewards through voting.Recall,that when a post is voted,half of the $$$ reward goes to the curator(s).So you can see that powering enables one to vote other authors post and then earn curation rewards from it.

•4.)To quality for the #Clubs
We have three interesting clubs to join at the moment.All the three clubs are juicy.They are #club5050 #club75 and #club100.

If a user powers up all his liquids rewards in a month then the user is in #club100.

If a user powers up 3/4 his liquid rewards in a month then the user is in #club75 and If a user powers up half of his liquid rewards in a month then the user is in #club5050.

To qualify for the clubs,remember that you won't make any transfer within the period under review or your powerup must be much more greater than your transfer(though it's never necessary to transfer out).

So you can see that powering up steem qualifies a user for all or any those aforementioned clubs and so the user will get extra votes for joining these clubs.
