Preamble

Steemit has become the major social media platform that enables users to post on its platform for free and then earn rewards from posting original contents.Apart from posting and earning on Steemit,users also learn about cryptocurrency,health,decent writings and lots more from the platform.

Steemalive remains one of the communities on Steemit that recruits,trains and supports her members/subscribers.A lot of activities aimed at promoting Steemit and helping members to grow exist in Steemalive community.

Here is a report of activities for the progress of SteemAlive community and Steemit as a whole by the city cordinator over the period 8th August to 14th August.

Mentoring and Guiding Our Members

Everyone on Steemit knows the importance of mentorship.Virtually everyone of us was mentored by another even at the present.
Within the week covered by this report,I was busy at the training center helping to attend to our members who came to be mentored and trained on one area or the other on Steemit.

Some came to be tutored on how to use justify alignment,center alignment and how to place pictures side by side while making posts on Steemit.They were all happy as I put them through this steps.Among the people that i had one-on-one training with are @peterabagi @youngrandma and @chigold1 you can see that their last posts were properly formated after the guidance.

Awareness at the Radio Station

One of the potent ways to reach out and spread information to a large numbers of people is through the radio.To this end,a presentation about Steemit and how to join Steemit was made at Real Fm radio station.A lot of audience in Aba city and beyond listened to the program and were impressed to hear that there is a social media platform where people can write and earn from.

The radio presentation was made by @samuel20 and @ninapenda while @focusnow stayed back at the training center to recieve calls from the listeners.

Live Seminar

A live seminar was made at the Steemit Training center on Saturday,14th August.In the course of the seminar,the attendees were told the meaning of Steemit,what to post on Steemit,how to join Steemit and how to earn on Steemit.

The person's that attended the seminar loved the presentation and will join in the coming days although @maxow71 registered after the seminar.

More persons would have attended the seminar but some of them called and said that they will come on Tuesday,17th August for a reschedule seminar.Since I am always available at the training center,I am ready to address them come Tuesday,17th August.

Verification of SteemAlive Members

Posting quality contents involves writing plagiarism-free contents, detailed contents,well formatted posts with justify and center alignment.

Inorder to make our members to key to this,I have continued to verify members in our community who are making detailed and we'll formatted contents in Steemalive Community.

Keeping Our Members Active

Being active is very important on Steemit.In a bid to make sure that our members in Aba city are active;contests are always organised and emphasis is always laid on the need to comment on other members posts.Posting regularly and commenting regular will increase in this new week as we are going to role out contests and other activities that will increase and promote engagement among our members.

Conclusion

I wish to thank @focusnow and @ninapenda they are playing a great role at the training center to make sure that every activities of the Steemalive Community is moving smoothly.

We have a decent and visionary leader in the person of @focusnow who supports activities here both financially and otherwise.
Special thanks to all Aba Steemalive members for being with is through thick and thin.I salute your efforts and die hard attitude towards Steemalive community and Steemit at large.
