Steem Road Show Day 15: Creating Awareness for Steem in Aba City and Training the Newbies :Set at 10% Beneficiary to Steemalive

Introduction

Greetings to all the promoters Nationwide and the Steemit Community.It is good to know that the road show has remained one of the best and most effective ways to register and make more people to know about Steemit.This is testament to the increased numbers of steemians that have joined within the past 8 weeks from Aba city and other cities in Nigeria where the road show has been prevalent.

Permit me to bring to you the report of the 15th day of the Steem road show in Aba city which took place on Tuesday,26th October,2021.

How it Started

The scheduled meeting point for the road show was at the training centre.I got to the venue and met @kingreechy who kept to the time,we entered the training facility together as I opened the entrance.In a short while @ladyofpolicy arrived.I shared the promotional flyer to them and the three of us boarded a tricycle to the road show venue which was BATA junction.

BATA junction is one of the busiest spot in Aba due to the fact it has lots of pedestrians,and is also close to a bus stop.These two factors makes it a favourable location any day, anytime.

When we got to the venue,I mounted the promotional banner and we took a group selfie and started sharing flyers.

I look out for people who are looking in the direction of banner,I will then approach them and talk to them about Steemit.Most of them were so interested to hear about Steemit and they gladly accepted the flyers.Some of them gave in more time and I signed them up while some were in a haste and so collected the flyers and my phone number so that they could be registered later or come to our training centre for proper orientation.
In the course of the road show,@focusnow also joined us before @goodness4real and @marajah joined too.

Positive Result

The road show is not just all about creating awareness.There is also need to sign up new users and so I personally signed up @favour01 and @king20 while I helped @goodness4real for complete the sign up of @amara20 and @pretty20

It was indeed a fruitful campaign.No thanks to the hot sun that took its turn on us.

Refreshment Time

After staying for about 3 hours on on the road doing the promotional activity.It was necessary that we needed to cool off before leaving.

As a result,we entered a nearby fast food called Crunchies where we had lunch together.It was a happy moment having lunch with the promoters.

Evening Class on WhatsApp

It is important that the newbies are properly taught how to make a post.To this end,I did an online class on WhatsApp group called SteemAlive Reception where I presented to all the newbies recruited today on how to log in and make a post.The newbies include @favour01 @king20 @pretty20 @amara20 @lightblitz @obinna1985 @clement99 @treasuresimeon @ekebaba @chinwebenson @godvicky and @precioushenry

Conclusion

I believe the road show is a potent of onboarding newbies to Steemit and also for creating awareness.Steemit is gradually becoming a household name in Aba city courtesy of the road.
