Steem Road Show Day 12:Tuesday ,12th October,2021||Taking Steemit to the Streets

Greetings and welcome to my road show post for day 12 in Aba city,Nigeria.Today marks the 12th day of the Steemit awareness campaign in Aba-a situation where the volunteer promoters move round the city to share flyers and sign up newbies.It is always an interesting adventure although it could be tiring sometimes due to the hot sun or the incessant rainfall that is prevalent in the city.

For today's road show,I woke up said my prayers,did the usual morning routine and left for the training centre which was about usual meeting point.I opened the training centre and within a short time @jokkystar and @peterabagi joined.The three us of took the flyers and the stand up banner and then left for the road show venue.We actually went on a tricycle.

On getting to the venue which was St Michaels by Asa road.We mounted the banner and began to share flyers to the people passing by.The other volunteers joined up and now,we have a great number of volunteer promoters along the street,each member was busy sharing flyers and speaking to people about Steemit.

I made effort to speak to as many people as possible about Steemit and the benefits of joining the platform.A good number of them gave me listening ears and I explained everything to them together with handing a flyer to each of them.

With the other guy

In the course of the awareness I signed up a user with username @abel123 and the other guy had a flat battery.He promised to sign up soonest and the other person would be attending our live seminar on Saturday 16th Oct.

After about three hours of creating awareness about Steemit on the busy street.I called the other promoters to round off so that we can go have a little refreshment.We took a selfie before leaving for the refreshment.

Refreshment

We went to a food shop along Azikiwe road where we settled for soups of different kinds and garri.Garri and soup is a staple food in Aba,Nigeria.Everyone enjoyed the food.I enjoyed it too.
