The earth is the third planet from the Solar system and the only planet meant to accomodate human life.
At times we may not seem to understand the value of the earth we live in but the truth remains that we cannot run from the unique features of this earth because they keep us alive.

Life cannot continue to exist on earth with enough water and the frequent rainfall have helped to normalize the quantity of water on earth. Through a process known as the water cycle, Water is evaporated from the seas which make up about seventy percent of the earth's surface and comes down back to us in form of rainfall.
The regulation of the earth's temperature is also partly due to the oceans and seas that absorbs heat during summer and warms the atmosphere during winter.
The sun emits ultraviolent rays that are very hazardous to human existence, their are also many harmful radiations in the outer space.
The unique earths atmosphere, largely absorbs this rays and atmosphere which prevents it from getting directly to humans and destroying life on earth.
The atmosphere stops this hazardous rays at about 400km away from the earths surface and allows some beneficial rays together with visible light rays and heat rays to penetrate right through to the surface.
Moreover, Since the atmosphere regulates the heat intake and loss, it prevents extremes of temperature and as heat gain and loss are equal, the earth is kept at a steady average temperature.
Our earth is very unique when compared to other planets in the solar system that cannot handle life. Knowing and understanding this should move us to value our existence in it and always appreciate the provisions that make life suitable for us.

Temperature
The range of temperature over the earth's surface is suitable for the forming of living matter and temperature. This is because through gravity, the earth's mass holds down a layer of gases called the atmosphere.
This atmosphere provides oxygen for humans and animals, carbon-di-oxide for plant growth and water vapor for rainfall. Additionally, since it is not too thick or thin, it moderates the amount of heat from the sun that reaches the earth and also acts as a blanket for retaining heat by night.
Due to this stability in the earths temperature range, life of all forms of living things can be maintained in the earth.

The Earth is truly unique in the solar system. Talking about enough water, I read somewhere that up to 70% of earths surface is covered by water. Thats more than enough to sustain life. I also love the perfect temperature and other things you mentioned. Great article I enjoyed it @sammylove
