Good Afternoon Steemians, I consider it a privilege to present to you one of my old gadget and the new one now. I am so much involved into the digital world so I am so much involved into the buying of Phones and Laptops as these things are very portable and can serve the purposes of some home gadgets like, Television, DVD, Torchlight, Wall Clock etc.

This post shows my Old laptop and the New one.

Where, When and How Much I bought the old laptop

I bought this old laptop in one of the big laptop shops in St Michaels Road Aba, Abia State. on October 2018 when I came into the Tech world. The system is high in its properties, It runs on a 4gb RAM and 500gb ROM space. Unfortunately, it is not an intel product, It runs an AMD processor. I bought the laptop then for Eighty Thousand Naira (#80,000). Actually, It was costly for me then but I needed it to pursue my tech career and that's why I bought it.

Lifespan of the Old Laptop

From when I bought the Laptop on October 2018, down till today it has served me for 3 years and 4 months and I'm still using it as an auxiliary Laptop. Since I have a smarter Laptop, I use this one for my personal activities while I use the new one for my work.

Quality and Durability of The old Laptop + Additional features

This old Laptop is really very strong, since it has 4gb RAM and 500gb ROM, it is very fast and smart for a beginner in the tech world, the ROM has the ability to comfortably accept thousand of documents, audio and video files. The RAM too allows it to be fast enough to render all the desired services. I so much like the system. The battery lasts for 3 hours comfortably when used for normal activities. It also accepts the use of Modem or WiFi to access the internet. It also has a HP TrueVision HD Camera which is one of its wonderful features. It has a loud speaker too but It is very heavy and big. I must say it is a system for hardworking people because strength is required for carrying it about from one place to another. HP is a company known for building high quality laptops and that still applies to this Laptop. It is very strong, For just this period that I have been using it, A friend of mine have used an Acer laptop, and an Asus Laptop, he changes it each year talking about one problem or the other. On his last purchase, he bought a HP Laptop which he is using presently.

Due to the record that HP has, when I needed a new laptop, I decided to go for a HP product and I bought a HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G3 Laptop.

Where, When and Price of the New Laptop

I bought this new Laptop from a friend whose shop is located in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos State. on December 2021. I bought it at the Price of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (#200,000). The Specs of the laptop moved me to purchasing it despite the Price. The system is so smart. We'll get to find out why I said so.

Lifespan of The New Laptop

I have not used this new laptop for a very long time, It's barely 2 months I purchased it but I still believe it will last longer than the old one. I use it for my secular work and It's super amazing.

Quality and Durability of The New Laptop + Additional Features

This New system runs on 8gb RAM and 500gb ROM space, this makes it super fast and smart. It also runs on 6th generation Intel Core i5 Processor which makes it very modern and up to date. The Battery life is superb, It lasts comfortably for not less than 7 hours when fully charged. This makes it very reliable. It freely connects to the internet through WiFi or a modem. It also browses at a speed that is very faster than my old laptop. The system is very flat, light and fragile too. This makes it easy to be transported from one place to another but with carefulness. It also has a very sharp HD Camera which makes it very good for virtual meetings or even photo shoots. The system I must say is very strong. Commonly, It is believed that older products have more quality then newer ones but I don't think that is the case with Laptops. The newer ones are also very much smarter than the older ones.
