7 Day Writing Challenge| Day 7| TEN PICTURES OF MY TOWN
INTRODUCTION
The invention of Cameras and Pictures are very beneficial. It have improved our knowledge of immediate surrounding areas and universe at large. Whatever one see/view, also have impressive impact on him due the strong influence of the sight as one of the sense organs!
In my locality, there are many uses, Lands have been subjected to. They include residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural uses etc. Many facilities are multi-purpose as many uses are found there and they are competing at high degree on that space. Let's see ten pictures, it's coordinates and brief description of the property;
1) MRS ANDREW JANE'S HOUSE
This building is owned by Mrs Andrew Jane and it is located at 195 Ohanku road, Aba. This upstairs boasts of one long and condusive hall for event. This facility is multiple used by various landuses. The hall at upstairs currently used for educational purposes while the downstairs hall for religious purposes by a church whose shown in the picture above. There's a single unit apartment at the back, which is used for residential purposes.
2). CHIEF Michael Ofu's house
This building is located at NO. 12 AMOS STREET. It is owned by CHIEF Michael Ofu, a business man whose stores chains are at Ariaria International Market. It is recently constructed before the Covid19 lockdown. It prided with a hall and other residential units.
3). ELDER PATRICK IJIOMAH
This is one of the oldest building in my entire area. It was constructed at 1980 but proper conservative measures always keep it in new. This building is very huge with four single-flat accommodation. It have two huge warehouses at the frontages
4) POULTRY FARM
This is one of the older poultry farm in my area. Mr. James Edu inherited the facilities from his father after he died mysteriously. They focused more on the layering of eggs. They produces up to 50 crates of eggs.
5 MR. OKAI JIKA
This bungalow is very strategic and have conservative measures go on with it to maintain it's original shape. It is one of the oldest building in the area. It is privately owned by MR. OKAI JIKA. It has several rooms and best ancillaries to support them.
6). DEEPER LIFE BIBLE CHURCH
This is one of the world greatest Pentacostal church with huge devoutees. It have it's root with Nigeria and have branches all over the country and aboard. This picture is it's IHEORJI BRANCH. they offer their services both in Igbo and English languages.
7) MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION
Due to poor road maintenance and construction. The rains keep washing away of the asphalt coverings of the roads making them impassable. The only mass transit of 18 to 20 passengers is BUS. This is typical example of it at the picture above. They are privately owned and heavily taxed by the government. To operate freely, the bus must have that color which is officially color designated by the government for bus and will be promptly paying the taxes to the Government.
8). MARC ROSE HOSPITAL
This is the best medical complex in my region. It is privately owned and they provide all medical services. Although it's service fees are high, the works are superb and monotonously.
9). MANLEY CONNECT
This is a telecommunication shop where they acts as subsidiaries for all the communication service providers in my country to the region. They offer top-notch communication services. It is privately owned and operated freely with the rules of the Government.
10). EZIBEST BEAUTY SALOON
This is one of the beauty salon around my region. They provides pedicure, manicure and other beauty services especially to females. They are privately owned and operated under Governmental directives. Their workers are usually females too. Although male beauticians are on the rise.
CONCLUSION
The socio-economic activities of people especially the informal sectors keep the human service system functional and alive. It should not be neglected. But will be encouraged to overcome all the challenges affecting it to grow!

Please don't be awestruck again. Buildings like every other things just needs maintenance. Some of it's fittings are due to be changed and repainted again. I will be glad to let you know again.
