This scammers are young guys and ladies that defraud unsuspecting victims for a living, due to the unlimited usage of the Internet, the scam activities has skyrocketed in the world, even the arrest made by the FBI, EFCC, POLICE, don't seem to face the activity of this fraudsters, I will be discussing with you some of the formats or strategies used by this criminals in scamming unsuspecting victims,

Phishing or Impersonation strategy is a process whereby the internet fraudsters create a duplicate website that is similar with a targeted original website, with the superpose of scamming people, the striking difference between the original website and the fake website might just be an alphabet,
For example we have 《cnn.com》as an original website, but the phishing website might come as 《cnnn.com》 you can see that there was an inclusion af an N alphabet,

This scammers are everywhere, even here in steemit, using this exact format to scam people on steemit, our boss the founder if @steemalive community has also made a post about it last month, phishing is one of the easiest scam ever, they scammers will just send a phishing link under your comment they will ask to join this free steem giver way by clicking on the like and sign in with you active key,

Unlike other social media platforms, like Facebook, when you click a real phishing link,
Without you putting you accounts details,
Just by clicking the link only your account is gone, But it's not like that on steemit due to the blockchain interface, but you will put your active key before the scammers will gett access to your cryptos,

In all this scams one thing is constant, the fraud stars are reaching out to you directly, due to the fact that they need you to send the money, however don't even believe anything you get in an email, don't even believe the phone calls you are getting at home, you can't trust what so ever they are telling you online, if you actually want to know more about the stuff they are pretending to be, you can go to the bank and confirm it, if they claims that they are from your bank, you can't trust what anyone online telling you about your account issues both banks and others, you can just go there you self and confirm, You need to take matters into your own hands,
