Local Business Review 2: Learn About Chinedu Furniture Shop.
Good afternoon my Lovelies. I know today has been great. I welcome you again to this week's contest. It's a new week and you know how it is every week... it's another Local Business Review. We are glad to meet you in perfect health. Let's take on another review. Today, we are going to be reviewing Chinedu's Furniture Shop...let's go....
When we talk about art and craft, furniture making can not be left out. This could be the chief of all craft considering the techniques that it entails. Is it the designs, artistry carvings or the foldings and build ups.... one need to be intelligent to be an exceptional furniture maker(holfestery). Today, I bring to your attention the exceptional furniture mater Chinedu Nwoke...and his beautiful works.

As at the time of my visit to this shop, these were the works on display.
His name is Mr. Chinedu Nwoke from Imo State. A hard-working young man though not married but very responsible and focus in his business... very skilful.
Chinedu is a trained furniture maker mainly holfestery. In his shop are so many finished and unfinished works which I took shots of some. He specialises in home furnitures like:
• beds
• chairs
• room dividers
• tables
•wardrope
• dinning tables, etc.
Mr. Nwoke makes everything furniture. His shop is opposite my work place so, I have seem his wonderful artistry designs but let me talk more on Chairs and beds.
According to him, the materials for work are now expensive which affects everything; raw materials, price, transportation, etc. because it takes a lot to make these furnitures.
The bed cost #80-#90,000 for well designed ones and #60-#70,000 for plain ones (non designed). Then I came to know that you won't really blame those keeping their foams on the floor. Though he said that the design a customer chooses is what determines the price of item needed....this is really interesting.
For Chairs, it also depends on choice and design and they come in sets- 1 three seaters, 1 double seater, 2 singles...5chairs makes a set. For example, that green chair above is a double seater, added other ones is 300- #400,000. Then the other design is a chair that's in Vogue now. I goes for #50,000 per one but if it's two, they will be #90,000 but it can be added to any other design to make up a set and they will go for about #450-500,000...is it outrageous? Don't say, because people like flashy and unique things so, na better money cook better soup!
Not only that he does good works, he has boys working under him as well.
CONCLUSION:
One good thing about this business is that the profit comes in bulk even though there are many materials use in making the items. The price is determined by the customer's choice, design and the materials you want to be used... original/ strong woods or fake materials. Whichever way, I believe a good handwork brings more customers and referrals....I believe in being truthful as far as any business is concerned especially, skilful works. Even me my own foam is on the floor. Things are very costly
We are on the same page but my issue is that I love sleeping on the floor...I can count how many times I sleep on foam... unless extremely cold nights if not, bear ground is my friend 🙈🙈🙈
