ANCIENT AND MODERN - SEE SOME OF MY OLD AND NEW ITEMS //by @queensleey // 10% to steemalive
It's with all humility that I participate in this week's contest...Ancient and Modern. I wish to present to you some of my old and new Items....
First is my OLD ELECTRIC BURNER
This is one of the things I got on my wedding day. It's a gift from my family...It's a 3 gas burner with an electric burner as well. I'm still using the gas burners but this one got rusted to the extent that it started shocking us whenever we are using it so I have to stop using it.
I wedded on 13th April, 2014. I used this burner up to 7 years and it served me well before it developed the fault and I replaced it with a current version...
My husband got this one from one of his friends who sells tokunbo electronics. He bought it for #5,000 that's approximately 4.5sbd.
This one burns like real burner I tell you. Once the electric is at its full point, you will be monitoring your food at every point if not it will burn like charcoal.
I like it because it cooks fast.
I bought this shoe about 5years ago from my colleague who sells female items and I bought it #4,000 - about 2.5sbd. Funny enough when I bought it,I had no single shoe...all my shoes got bad and I was in urgent need of a shoe. When I finally got it, it was the only one I had for almost a year. I wore it very well till last 2years I stopped wearing it. I had others but I got new ones last year...
The black one I bought last year October for #7,000 and the ash I got as a gift from a friend December last year. They are just 4 and 3 months with me respectively. I love the colours too because they can hardly select clothes.
We have a new Television
that we bought November last year to replace the old one we took down the village. This is coloured beautiful 32 inches Philips product, flat screen front and back while the former is LG,32 inches flat screen front but the back is big box. The two are good just that we needed to take a Television down our country home, hence the new one. I don't have a picture of the old TV, I would have showed it
Also, here are large nylon bags full with my old clothes...
I want to take them to our church for mission work. Whenever our missionaries go for mission work, they give out items especially to rural areas so, since I can't go, we give out items sometimes cash to go foy us. That's the little we can do to win souls for Christ.
Every one have old things, that we call them old doesn't mean they are old and worn-out but just that we have or planning to get new ones just like I am believing in God for new clothes. And I know they will come.
I can testify to that electric burner, chaiiii I've helped burnt my sister's food one time.
You have quite an interesting story and I wish you best of luck in the contest but I can't find your old TV.
Yes, my old TV has gone down to our village. Thanks for being in my blog.

I can remember what I went through with This electric cooker those days, any time I want to make use of it I have to off the socket first before I can shake what I was cooking. Thank you for bringing back the memory
It's terrible. It's well.
Really, your old electric cooker is looking more modern than the new one. I like the look.
Your old red shoes really looks familiar though! Seems like I've seen you on those shoes before 😄
