Introduction

Hello guys good day to you all, it's been a great day and I hope yours was good as well?. It's my third entry in this contest and today I will be teaching you guys how to beake and cover a cake so stay tuned and learn properly.

STEPS ON HOW TO BEAK CAKE

Step 1

The first thing to do when you want to beak cake is to make sure all the materials you need will be available then you clean up your environment before your start measuring your items but the size of cake you want to beak will depend on the quantity of items you will measure so for today I will be giving you the measurements of 500g fruit cake.

List of items to measure

Flour: 500g
Sugar:350g
Butter:500g
Egg:500g
Breaking powder:1 Tablespoon
Presavative:1/2 Teaspoon
Alcohol: 3/4 cup
Flavour 1/2 Tablespoon or to your test
Dry mix fruit To your test

When measuring you will measure your butter and sugar in a bowl first and start mixing it with spachelor properly until the butter and sugar start getting white then you risks your egg in a different bowl but while risking your egg you must do it fast and make sure the egg rise up properly so your egg can rise well else your cake will just remain the same way you put it on fire.

So after risking the egg you will turn it in the butter and sugar that you have already mixed then stear it for like 5 minutes before adding your flour, beaking powder, presavative and your flavour then mix it up to 5 minutes before adding your alcohol because it's the last item to add before dividing them in your already buttered pan then you put it on fire but before in your it in your oven or charcoal but must on the fire and put it on a high heat for the oven to hot before putting your cake for 45 minutes but after putting your cake the heat of your fire should be reduced to a low heat.

Once your cake is on fire always make sure to check it on a regular basis should in case your fire is high you can reduce on time so that your cake will not get burnt from the outside and the inside is half done so always make sure to check it.

Once your cake is well cooked you bring it out from your oven then place it on the table so it will get old before covering it but must of the time we beak then leave it till the next morning before covering it but should in case you are given an order to deliver on that same day you will have to beak your cake in the morning highest before 10am the cake is ready so that in the afternoon you can start covering the cake then deliver it in the evening.

When you want to cover your cake you will pickup the cake and a treaming knife then you tream the body and top of your cake equally so that each sides will be equal then you add your butter cream on the top of your cake before adding the next cake on top of it and should in case you are confused on what a butter cream is then I will tell you, a butter cream is the combination of 500g icing sugar and 250g of butter that you will mix together until it smooth.

Once you are done adding your cake on top of each other and treaming them the next thing is to also use butter cream to cover the body of your cake then use a smoothner to smooth the body of your cake for a proper look because without that the body of your cake will be rough and it won't be attractive. So that you will decide on what you will like to decorate your cake it like maybe a fundant cake or butter cream cake but I will be showing you guys butter cream cake.

Step 4

When using a butter cream to decorate your cake you will mix your icing sugar and butter just like I said earlier then add a enough of it to the body of your cake and on top of it as well before using your smoothner to smooth the cake but when doing that you will have to put your smoothner in hot water so that the butter with not stick to the smoothner and the body of the cake will not have any creak as well.

Step 5

On you are done smoothing your butter cream the next thing is to pick your piping bag then add your butter cream to create a design on your cake but should in case you want a coloured butter cream as your design you will just add colour of your choice to your butter cream then use it to decorate your cake to your test but while decorating you should be very careful and sure of the design you want to make before starting so the coloured one will not stain the body of your cake.
