Introduction
Good day guys, she is here again. There are thousands of creative things we can use our hands to make such as knitting, hair braiding, mat weaving, bead making etc. But we will be talking about another aspect of creativity: Making of paper boat. Paper boat is a nice representation of a boat but in paper form, it is mostly fancied by children and used to catch fun but when dip in liquid it melts and scatters, it is not a long term creative piece of craft because of it fragility.
How is it made?? Let's find out;
Materials needed
Just a sheet of paper is needed for this piece of creative work as it is very simple to go about.

Procedures
1. Get your sheet paper and spread it on a flat surface
2. Fold it to two parts and make sure that both sides are equal
3. After equalising both sides, you go further to fold the extreme sides of both parts, at this stage, the folded sides look like triangle
4. You proceed to fold the extreme end of the paper horizontally, there it latter part seems to cover up the triangle as seen in the picture below

5. After doing the above step, you open the space and fold the upper and lower part inwardly

6. You keep refolding and repeating the process until you get your desired shape. You notice that while refolding, the paper reduces in size, therefore the smaller the paper the smaller the boat size

7. After getting your desired boat size, you carefully remove the two horizontal folded extremes, at this point the creator needs to be extra careful so as not to mess up the piece of craft. Our paper boat is ready to be used but one may decide to undergo just one last procedure which is optional though
8. You may decide to paint it with poster color to make it more beautiful, appealing and attractive as children love fancy things
As I said earlier, painting is optional, so I decided not to paint mine
NOTE; This craft does not need any A4 paper or cardboard as it will be difficult folding and will possibly produce a rough result

Conclusion
Creativity brings out the good in us. When we are creative we stand a chance of acknowledging/appreciating natural skills and work at perfecting it. We should never stop trying out new things though they might seem difficult and complex at first as many as put food on people's tables.

Ah you made me remember our childhood. When we made all kinds of folding paper artworks. I heard this art originated in Japan and they call it Origami. Its really cool. I made boats, airplanes and even wallets with paper. I also made camera with it. Childhood was really fun. Thanks for this interesting writeup
