CONTEST- 7 DAYS WRITING CHALLENGE. (Day 2) : A TRIPE TO MY FAVOURITE SUPPER MARKET

INTRODUCTION

My name is @peterabagi and iam really glade to be a part of this contest as we are gradually moving to the end as the day goes by.

The favourite supper market i have been to is the CINE21 MARKET SQUARE ABA. It is not just my favourite but the biggest , the most patronized , and the most excellent supper market in the city of Aba.

Market square as it is popularly called among Aba people is always crowded as most indigenes say their goods are cheap. Most times foreigners walk into market square to buy some times as it seem more like an ultra modern supper market.

LOCATION
CINE21 MARKET SQUARE IS LOCATED ALONG ABA - OWERRI ROAD . In fact it can been seen as a land mark in the city of Aba.

I went to market square on the 24th of august to buy the following items

• Laptop Bag
• Bread
• Fresh Meat
• Milk
• Oil
  I bought the laptop bag for 30 steem, i bought the bread for 3 steem, the fresh meat i bought for 5 steem , the milk i bought for 6steem and the oil i bought for 10steem.

Most of this items i bought in large quantity so that it would serve me for long and i will not have to come back until a long time when they will be exhausted and i will have need to come back for more.

SPACE OCCUPIED BY MARKET SQUARE

This ultra modern supper market as i mentioned early occupies about 5 plots of land put together , indeed it is a market as the name implies.

WHY THEY ARE MY FAVOURITE AND THAT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS.

• They have upgraded to the point that all they cashiers have a point of sale (POS) . The point of sale allows the customers to walk in with just a debit card and get what they want and pay through the point of sale.

As the world has gone digital most customers like me operate a cashless economy , however we always have our debit cards to make quick transactions .
With your debit card you aviod wasting your time and that of the cashier attending to you in the name of looking for change.

Am glade i know this and am glad marker square is doing this type of transaction else i would have been looking for another supper market some where else .

• Originality of Goods is one major reason why i go to market square, and from my interaction with my friends we have almost the same reason.

Everyone hates to buy something that is fake , hence to protect their image all their goods are tested and trusted . Their goods are directly shiped from the producers warehouse to market square stores.

• Affordability of goods at market square.
  The first time i came to Abia state i didn't want to visit market square because i was thinking their things will be too expensive.

But i was amazed the first time i went in and i discovered that their things were way so affordable as every other shop out there, more so they were selling affordable products and original products.

• Attitude of workers . The professional ethics displayed by staffs of market square is indeed commendable. I have never seen them talking rudely to any customer. Even when customers are wrong they understand the rule that says, " customers are always right" and they all play by the rule.

• Their uniformity in language and dressing keeps the atmosphere in that market going.

In that market what one staff says is what they will all tell you one after another. Indeed it is obvious they are well trained to make money for their employer.

• Excellence. By excellence i mean their ability to meet up with the expectations of their customers . I have seen only few persons who don't like market square for their personal reasons.

• Neatness and Cleanliness . I personally don't' t like a dirty environment . They have a high level of patronage as though they are a community market and i see their neatness and arrangement as one of their strength for that.

When you enter into this market the air is fresh, the place is bright and shining neat. They take Higgins very serious especially when it comes to their perishable goods.

• Space and Space, market square has a good space as customers don't squeeze themselves or step on themselves.
  Their speed in serving their customers is well recommended and noticeable .

• Parking space , market square has made provision for customer like us who have benz to park our cars .

• Security , They have installed camera and employed a good number of security to protect lives and property .

FEW THINGS I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THEM

• Some times the light at market square just goes off and we are all in darkness.

• Most times they don't have charge and you are expected to leave your change or buy something you didn't budget for at your own expense as though you told them not to have your change.

• My house is a distance to market square , hence it takes time to get there and buy what i want. I live at spring clinic Aba.

I have learnt the following from market square:
