Introduction
Hi fellow steemians, I greet you all .I am @pato84 . It is my pleasure to write here on how our roadshow which took place on 17th September 2021 went.

When we arrived at the school
Ordinarily this was supposed to be our third roadshow but because the first one we planned was aborted by a heavy down pour (rainfall) that now makes this to be the second. Whereas the first road took place last week at a nearby Higher Institution, this second one took place at a very distant institution located at the outskirts of the city far away from where we all reside. It happened to be my second experience on what a Roadshow entails in SteemAlive. I hereby humbly implore you all to read in between the lines of my blog .
The venue for the roadshow is Hill College of Education Gwanje, located in the outskirts of Akwanga. And it is about 5kilometers away from Akwanga.
At exactly 10:am the city cordinator came to meet me in the shop immediately I have to lock up and suspend every other activity in my itenerary for the day and off we go to the venue of the roadshow.

While on our way we encountered some hitches because the motor bike developed some fault which included a flat tire. And some strange noisy sounds emanating from the chain and sprockets and this factors really delayed our movement because we have to move on a very low pace and speed. We have to immediately look for a vulcanizer to help us fix the bike .

Luckily, we found one and he fixed the tire problem and we continued our journey but at this time we were moving on a very low pace with silent prayers in our hearts for a hitch- free trip because the noise from the bike was disheartening and frightening.
Prior to arriving the venue we met some three ladies along the road so we have to stop over and Interact with them a little about steemit.

But one excuse herself because she had no Android phone while the other two were rushing for lecture so they complained of running out of time so we handed over our promotion fliers to them and proceeded on our journey
When we finally arrived the school @patience90, @akwashphil and @desiredlady were already on ground awaiting our arrival at the school entrance gate.

From the entrance gate we started heading for the school premises. When we got in ,as custom demands, the first thing we did was to hang our Steemalive promotional banner.

We interacted with some students at that point after which we requested to go and see their staff for official introduction and of course, seek permission to penetrate the school and talk with students.
Making the aim and intention for coming known to the gate
We met with the Dean of students affairs who gave us a go ahead after listening to us. We met with some group of students and started telling the about steemit and more and more were trooping in closer to hear and so many developed interest.
The ones with their Android phone handy began the signing up process immediately. Some complained that they left their phones to charge at their various homes and it is very far from the school so I have to use my motor bike to be carrying them to their various homes one after the other to pick their phones.

I took about 5 of them at different times to get their phone and when we got to their homes I had to seize that opportunity to also talk to other students and one developed interest and followed us to the school premises to get signed up.Every hand was on deck doing one thing or the other @charis90 and @patience were doing the signing up, @akwashphil was helping those with email issues, @ desiredlady was putting them through on their introductory post whereas I was busy, transporting them home to and fro, to get their phones and at the same time taking the all the snapshots and also preaching to others who came subsequently.
Some complained of no data in Their phone the have to connect to the WiFi and hotspot of @charis20 @pato84 .
The roadshow we intended to finish by 12noon lasted till 5pm and all of us were tired and fatigued.
We met with the provost of the school and other staff who commended our relentless effort and patience for tarrying that long with their students in trying to empower then and highly appreciated our benevolence.

At the end of it all, we signed up about 7 persons.
Having been exhausted beyond measure, our city cordinator @ Charis 20 took us to XTRAMILE INTERCONTINENTAL KITCHEN for relaxation and refreshment. Thanks to her for her benevolent spirit.

The next day being Saturday 18th we headed for Seventh-day ADVENTIST church for a Steemalive seminar on what steemit is all about @pato84 had earlier informed the team of his interest and concern for the youth in his church to get empowered by registering into steemit.
The seminar started from 4pm and ended at 5:30pm. It was a very interactive session with the youth who shared some of their experiences and knowledge about Bitcoin and online and networking business in which they scammed at last.

At last, a large number de veloped interest but owing to the programme they have in the church we couldn't sign them up. So the signing up was scheduled for another day within the next week. Meanwhile @pato84 was assigned to help them work on their introductory Post to ease the work and save time on the day of Signing up. After the seminar @pato84 took the team to his shop and entertained us.

Conclusion
It was a very hectic day. Very exhausting but yet very fruitful. I really appreciate the spirit of teamwork among Nasarawa city members. This team is wonderful in all ramifications. We thank God for the fruitful Roadshow. And we hope to storm every nook and cranny of Akwanga and impact Nasarawa state with steemit .
