Introduction

My fellow Steemians in @steemalive, I bring you warm greetings from my Nasarawa city as I give you report of our Day 11 Roadshow events

The Roadshow was scheduled for 9:am but due to some circumstances beyond my control as a healthcare giver I was not able to be at the venue at the exact time. However before it was 9am I went to our able and amiable St as the Representative @charis20 who is still enjoying maternity leave, to pick up our banner for onward movement to the road show venue. Coming out from her house I was called upon to attend to some health issues, so I kept the banner with me in my office so @desiredlady and @ziongater on their way to the Road Show stopped over my office and picked it.

Later on I joined them, reaching there I met so many Steemians on ground doing the Road Show with zealousness.

At first our Promotional banner was hanged at Hall 10. Later when the number of students reduced there, we moved the banner to a better and more strategic corner to attract the attention of more passersby.

We had opportunity to engage so many students in discussion about steemit. And most of them indicated interest to join but when we tried signing them up we encountered some challenges ranging from poor Network to invalid phone numbers and invalid email. Because of how zealous and desperate I was to win at least one soul by engaging almost every one passing by @ziongater gave me a steemit baptismal name @pato84, THE UNTIRING STEEMIT EVANGELIST

Indeed the Road was a successful one because we created some many awareness about steemit. We exchanged contract with the interested prospects so as to sign the up subsequently. We also learnt do many new things to enhance our journey on steemit.
We vacated the venue when it almost 2:00pm

Conclusion

We are happy that every day steem is gaining a foothold here in Nasarawa city as we are always going out a team on Fridays to promote steem through Roadshow. We also work on individual basis to ensure that more people are signed up and the newbies were also guided to be more active as the 3Rs in steemalive mission statement stands for Recruit, Retain and Reward
