Introduction

Hi, fellow Steemians in steemalive Community how are you are doing? Trust you are in good and sound health. I wish to bring to you the dairy Game on Wednesday 26th January 2022 Preparing and taking off to a Leadership Training And Survival Camp.

Morning

I woke up and had our morning devotion with my wife and kids and then dressed my kids for school. When they left for school I ironed some clothes I will be traveling with including my uniforms and the arranged them in the bag and left for my office.

Afternoon

I got to the office I started to make inquiry and connection as to where I could get garri to drink and Groundnut cake(commonly known as Kwulikwuli). It was to be a four day solitary life in the bush typifying the Wilderness experience of the children of israel. How they were cut off from the Egyptian enjoyment and luxurious kind of food only to be fed on natural food via divine Providence. For this reason, earlier on the following information below has been disseminated to all delegates (campers) regarding everything that pertains to the camp.

Camping Rules

1• Campers must Camp only where camping is allowed..

2• Campers must keep the campsite clean at all times and leave the site better than mate it..

3• Campers must never leave the camp fire unattended and when leave must make sure it is entirely off..

4• Must not cut down trees without approval from the Director or assigned Person..

5• Campers must respect all signs, authority, rules and private property.

6• Campers must never pick wild flowers without permission..

7• No artificial food will be allowed at the camping site..

8• campers must never cut down the trees while hiking, some tree will be use as signs..

9• Campers must not pollute the stream or fetch water on the undesignated areas..

10• Campers must always respect the privacy of other campers

11• All campers must participate in all activities.

12• campers must be polite and courteous..

13• Every campers must conduct Him or Herself as a Christian and ambassador and representative of his/her local church

14• All campers must be Registered and dully a accredited and must put on camp Tags always..

15• All campers must come with the survival camp requirements.

Camping Requirements

1• Come with your sleeping wear.

2• Must have a doctor's report of healthy condition for fitness check

3• Must come with your natural foods..e.g All roots, fruits, vegetables, nuts especially coconuts so as to use the back for plates and cups etc.

4• All individual should have the following

An Axe

A Cutlass

A touch lights

A mosquito net

A water bottle

A matches, not lighter

A whistle code

A rope for lashing and one roll for tent making

A Person first aid kit .

A Personal Bible reading plan

Camping bucket..

Plates and Cutleries

Everything must be natural,learn how to make plate and spones before coming.

Uniform
👉🏿Only Pathfinder uniform Class A" Will be allowed..i.e Suntan and Forrest green

👉🏿 Kits attaire
Jean trouser and any Youth T-shirts..

👉🏿 Survival venture attire
Camping T-shirt

👉🏿 Sports attire
All sports Gear..

Local Churches Requirements
An official letter from the church identifying all campers from the church and their clubs,this letter will be sign by the church pastor/Head elder, Church clerk and Youth leader of the church..

Food Vendors

No artificial food to be sold on the camping site, All vendors must sell only natural food items and fruits of all kinds-no vendor is allowed to come to camp ground without obtaining official permission..

Note that this is a survival camp and all campers must learn how to Survival in time of trouble.., prepare your mind for a 3day adventure at Farin Ruwa.

Survival Camp Creed

👉🏿 🙋‍♂️I believe that man the intelligent animal can travel through the wilderness and Leave no trace.

👉🏿 🙋‍♂️I Will keep my group small and learn more..

👉🏿 🙋‍♂️I will keep my stay in one place short.

👉🏿 🙋‍♂️I will not cut down trees or branches while on Hike.

👉🏿 🙋‍♂️I will not build fire anyhow and will make it small and keep it off when ever am leaving.

👉🏿🙋‍♂️ l will leave no trash or other evidence of my stay in the wilderness.

Along the line, my Preparation was intercepted by @terdoo and her friend who called to come for a medical attention. When they can I collected their blood samples and a laboratory test was conducted and drugs dully administered following the result of the test.

Evening

I went to the car park at about 3:20pm and then took off. I arrived the venue at 6:30pm and was cleared and thoroughly searched by the security after which I was granted entrance to the reception section/Secretariat for clearance and then the camp t-shirts and Programme and ID were handed. At night, when it was about 2000GMT, the director calked the camp to order and presented his welcome address. After that the first resource person mounted the stage and led us in the First Assignment which was on Introduction To Knot Tying
The layout out of the campsite was explained to every delegate. A lecture was presented on Introduction To Camp Fire.
At the end of this lecture we built a Campfire to keep us warm as LL through the cold night in that open field in the middle of the bush and as well scare away wild animals.

Conclusion

The day was full of activities and travelling for the camp was very hectic and rigorous as the place was very car. Nonetheless, I am happy I made it to the camp and the experience was greatly awesome
