Introduction

Hello everyone, I want to appreciate @uzoma24 for this amazing and interesting contest with the title "What You Can Get From Loyalty You Can Not Get By Labour"
I am @patience90, you are welcome to my blog.

What is loyalty?

Loyalty can equally be referred to as faithful, fidelity, or allegiance, having demonstrating undivided and constant support for something or someone.

What is labour?

This is an effort extended on a particular work or task which requires hard work for it's accomplishment.
When you critically examine loyalty and labour, they go hand in hand.
Therefore when you labour for for something or someone, your loyalty is much needed to put in your efforts effectively.

However, I agree that what you can get from loyalty, you cannot get by labour.
Yes, loyalty works hand in hand with integrity and people with integrity are diligent even when no one is watching.

Why?

It takes a loyal person to put effective efforts into achieving a given task.

Notwithstanding, I want to share a little story with you.

There was a loyal contractor who was reliable, trustworthy and honest in his duties. However, he doesn't have a house of his own and life was hard on him despite everything.
So one day, his wealthy boss who reside outside the country gave him a contract and was supposed to be his last because the boss felt they both need to retire for age was no longer by their sides. Then he called on the contractor and gave him a large portion of land and asked him to design and bring an estimate for him.
The contractor now thought. I've been working for this man for long faithfully yet I have nothing to show for it. So now, he decided to design a substandard house and gave an extravagant estimate to the boss. Thinking he will use the extra cash for himself.
The boss without looking at the design, asked him to go on with the building and also gave out the money without complain.
The contractor did a very job on the building, squandered the remaining money, and finally told the boss that the house was ready.
The boss on the other hand without bothering to look at the house because he trusted his contractor, told the contractor that the house and everything in it was his reward for the years' loyalty.
Wow! You and I can imagine the looks on the contractor's eyse, the pain and regret in his heart.

With my above point, you will realize that what you can get from loyalty, you cannot get by labour.
The contractor's years of labour was wasted because he lacked loyalty at the
end.

Conclusion

Yes, I am still standing on my point that what you can get from loyalty you cannot get by labour.
When you are loyal, you wont bother who is watching or if your labour is in vain.
You will do all it takes to keep your integrity intact.
