Introduction

Hello my dear fellow steemians, here is my roadshow report for Friday 19th November 2021

Ready to hit the road

Morning

After the morning devotion, I did my chores generously by making sure everywhere was in order in the house before leaving for Nasarawa City Roadshow Day 11 which was scheduled to be at College of Education Akwanga by 9:00am.
I left home early because I intend visiting a cyber cafe for a job I gave them and when I got there, I used the opportunity to speak with the people about steemit though they promised to get back to me and I also did same his their Neighbour who has a patent shop before boarding a bike down to the venue.
On reaching the venue, I met @auta and @dorcasje were already waiting and I quickly asked if they had any challenge because they are still undergoing mentorship.
I was able to attend to them before @zionater and @desiredlady, @iorzan and @pato84 subsequently joined.

The promotion was going well and we decided to change location because we understood that people were not passing our way as we anticipated though we spoke to a group of students who were interested but didn't have a smart phone.

Afternoon

It was already noon when we finally changed location and afterwards, our banner and t-shirts got the attention of a lot of onlookers and passersby and the team were able to talk and convinced about 3 people to join but we tried in vain for several times which got us frustrated due to network challenges, invalid phone number and low battery.

But we didn't give up because we exchanged contacts and invited them to join our meetup tomorrow or if we can sign them through WhatsApp.

@pato84 was more pissed off and he didn't stopped speaking to as many people as he could even though some vehemently refused and were nonchalant.

Later, the students steemians went to write a test while we stayed back to get more interested people and while doing so, I helped my fellas with their challenges in my own little understanding before we finally parted ways when I was satisfied that they were okay.

I will say we were not lucky enough to sign anyone but we achieved something through my mentorship.

Refreshments

Our refreshments include biscuits, awara, masa, kunu aya (date drink) and water.

Evening

Getting home, I got a call from one of the interested person that he got an email but there was no sms and I promised to keep trying signing him up from my angle and he should make sure his phone battery is well charged in case it becomes successful from my end.

Conclusion

Today's roadshow was lite even though there is no sign up but I am fulfilled because I was able to mentor others in understanding some things.
I hope to see the output in their next post.
