Hello everyone welcome to my blog.
I want to

Ever since I was a kid according to my older siblings, I've always admired flowers, loved to pick flowers from plants around to decorate my little play corner.
As an adult, it has not changed one bit

Therefore I sincerely appreciate @amjadsharif for this beautiful flowers photography contest where I can share some beautiful flowers I got.

Nevertheless, here are the few flowers I got and they are:

• Chinese ixora
• Bougainvillea spectabilis
• Pumpkin flower
• Okra flower
• Sunflower

Chinese ixora

This flower is common in my city which beautifies the environment.
It can be found panted in environment such as churches, schools, hotels and even houses.
This particular one I captured it church.

Bougainvillea spectabilis

Another beauty to behold.
I captured this flower today on my way out in the afternoon. I have passed by several times and sometimes cut a bunch on m way because it has grown over the hotel fence and is hanging outside.
Oh yes! The hotel is on my street called Kini Country Guests Inn Akwanga
How did I get the name? Well, I bumped into one of the staff at the gate and then I asked the name which he doesn't have idea but directed me to the gardener who happily told me.

Pumpkin flower

This pumpkin flower is planted in our garden and I find the flower beautiful.
Aside eating the leaves, sometimes I wish I can try eating the flowers as well (lol). Don't think I'm crazy, it's just my love for flowers.
So I captured this morning from our garden.

Okra flower

How did I capture this? Well, we have a farm behind our house where we planted so many things including okra and we use the okra leaves and fruit to cook delicious soup.
I also captured it this morning while checking on the farm to harvest some matureokra.

Sunflower

Someone may be wondering how I got sunflower. Well, my neighbour planted a lot of them in his farm and the seeds are processed into edible oil.
Amazing isn't it?

Nature has blessed us with so many beautiful plants and flowers that can be used to beautify the environment, cure some diseases and also for human and animal consumption.
