Introduction

"There are many good reasons to present awards for outstanding achievements. For example: an awards ceremony makes people feel that their work is valued, it shows approval and gratitude for each persons good job and it makes people aware that good work will be rewarded."

In steemit, the steemit awards 2021 is a way to say thank you to all members and to reward and encourage authors, communities and the best contributors.

I present to you my nominations for the the 3 categories of the steemit 2021 awards.

Best Author- @ngoenyi

She's not just a good writer but also a woman with a heart of gold, hardworking, jovial and kind.

Why i choose @ngoenyi as the best author.

• hardworking
  What makes a good writer? Hard work. Yes! Writing is hardwork.
  Writing is not easy as you need to find your style, make sure you use good grammer, pay attention to every details, read others articles and also makes sure your work is free from plagiarisim.

When you look at @ngoenyi profile you will agree with me that she's hardworking.
1000+ posts in less than 2 years she joined the platform. Dropping 3 to 4 post a day, welcoming newbies to steemit as a greeter with those lovely writeups, writing crypto assignment, engaging in others post and many more.

Last time i checked she's a country representative, a position you can't hold if you can't express yourself be in person or through writing.

  I have learned a lot from her posts, from the way she arrange her works to her choice of words. Its true that there isn't a writer who doesn't makes mistakes, but the good ones work at it and always check. I will love to be like her one day....

A morale booster, a true definition of a leader, a genius.

why i choose @focusnow as the best contributor.

• His words of encouragement and support.

I can remember the day he signed me up. He encouraged me to write my introduction post at the office and even offer to help me. Well, after my introduction post and posting two more content on steemit i was discouraged because of lack of support.

I went to his office the next day with @toson and he asked "osolife why are you not writing?" @toson told him am discouraged because of lack of support. He smiled and said.."osolife, nothing good comes easy. Keep making quality post and i will support you."

Those words really encouraged me. Here i am today about to hit 1000 sp all thanks to him. The truth is - to remain in this platform we all need encouragement at times..and @focusnow is always there in times like that.

  Currently steemalive is the most active community and one of the best if not the best among all communities in steemit.
  Without the effort of @focusnow there will be nothing like steemalive.

In steemalive community, mondays are for contests and @focusnow makes sure he sent all winners their rewards.

To make the community lively he introduced lid report, SEl (to help members engage in others post) spvc( for roadshow) Hello world( a way of telling other members you are awake and stron)and many more. All this are efforts he made to retain his recruit and at times he will just come up with a simple test of brain and reward the winner with steem. Steemalive is lively because of him.

• Roadshow

To make sure steemit becomes every household name @focusnow came up with nice idea... The roadshow.

For close to 5 months, steemalive as a commumity has been promoting steem in more than 6 states in Nigeria through the roadshow and thanks to our leader @focusnow.

He's not the type that will ask you to "do as he said not as he do" he lead by example. He made sure he participate in every roadshow even under hot sun and once he can't Make it he will see to it that he support us in anyway he can.

I was even surprised he joined us one certain day even though he was'nt that strong. That really boost our morale and that also shows his passion and how determined he is to reach his goal of making steem a household name.

He provided us banner for the roadshow, steemalive t-shirt and he is currently working on our ID card as a promoter. He makes sure we get the support we need each time we go out to promote steem.

Sometimes i wonder what steemit would be like without steemalive community..
Just imagine bread without butter, a football pitch without a goalpost, tea without sugar.

To me, steemalive is the best community with a total number 7,525 subscribers with 795 curation trail, the highest in steemit.
