It's another new week, I hope you all are having fun and enjoying it, on my side it has never been betrr😁, I pen down my contribution to the 7-day writing contest in the steemalive community, hopefully, it meets their criteria

BANK

A bank is a financial institution whereby the public carries out transactions such as making deposits, and withdrawals, and simultaneously rendering loans to their customers with the lending protocol. In Nigeria, there are several financial institutions whereby the mentioned activities are carried out, currently, Nigeria has 21 commercial banks in Nigeria including Providus bank, Some of the popular banks in Nigeria are, FIRST BANK, GTCO(guarantee trust holding company), ACCESS BANK, UBA(united bank for Africa), UNION BANK WEMA BANK, ZENITH BANK.

When did you start using this service

Following a requirement to have an account with any commercial banking services in Nigeria, the NIN, passport and recent electricity bill must be provided for the creation of an account, and to possess some of these documents you must be of legal age, which is 18, in 2012, I had been opportune to start using a banking service which is 10 years ago.

What is special about them

Truth be told, I didn't use the banking system because of any specialty, but rather, the easy access to the closest bank to my residence as at then. But when I had the opportunity to start using the bank effectively, I realize a lot of benefits of using a banking system,

• Easy transfer of money to anybody regardless of the distance.
• It serves as an investment service. When saving money, it
• No fee for depositing money
• It facilitates the management of money
• It serves as security of money

What area should they improve?

🤔 The banking system needs to improve in some ways that have been a shortcoming to the banking services,

• It is not new that bank servers often go down, incurring several pending transactions of users.
• The need to ease the registration of accounts should be taken into account, currently, I have visited a bank 4 times before a successful creation of an account with a complete document. Hence the need to modernize their ways of setting up an account should be looked into.
• The use of blockchain technology should be integrated into the system of banking.

TELECOMS NETWORK

We have different telecommunications networks which are, telephones, radio, satellites, and Internet, A telecommunication network allows the interaction between two or more people or the exchange of messages with two or more people

When did you start using this service

In the year 2009, I was given a mobile phone, with an Airtel sim, look at it today that is a long year, I have started using a mobile phone since 13 years ago, I have been familiar with radio, telephone and the internets, in the year 2011, I became familiar with the use of internet on a mobile device.

What is special about them

• It is special because it allows interaction between people regardless of the distance
• It allows the exchange of data and information in various forms like videos, data, and voice as such it makes us live a modern life in this era of modernization
• it is special because it provides a signal for the transmission of data traveling.
• it is special because it is used in different sectors, n banks, in our daily life, Business, and network.

What area should they improve?

• Poor connection is an issue that emphasis needs to be laid on, it is evident that when there is rain or storm the telecom network start disappointing in various area, including internet, banking and others, in addition, a radio signal will be scrambling

• The supplement of telecommunications are still yet to get to some places, especially remote area, and this need to be looked into.

TV station

A television station is a set of equipment set by an organization that broadcasts content, and information to the public, it is important because it educates, informs, and entertains the people. There are various tv stations in Nigeria, such as Lagos television station, silverbird tv station, Ogun state tv station, Galaxy tv station, ONtv, HIP tv, Nigeria television authority, MiTV, and many more.

When did you start using this service

It has been more than 20 years that I have been viewing a tv station, at a very young age, I watch tv stations like galaxy tv, MItV, and NTA. I watch entertaining programs like “Who wants to be a millionaire”, music videos, quiz programs on TVs, Cartoons, and football matches.

What is special about them

• They inform people of the current situation or affairs of the country.
• They provide educational benefits for people.
• They promote the culture of the different states in the country.
• They entertain people with all kinds of fun.
• They create bonds among the family.
• It erases the feeling of boredom thereby connecting you to a different event in the country.

What area should they improve?

• In the area of visuals, some tv stations lack clean and clear visuals.
• Some television stations have server issues, as such, they often have blackout/scramble during programs, shows or information.
• Repetition of program, I remember watching some movies on a tv station several times, so I can mimic every action of the movie😁.
• Promotion of unpleasant videos, some tv stations promote movies, and music videos, which are unpleasant to the eye and ear.

PHARMACY

A pharmacy is a place, shop, or hospital dispensary where medical drugs are sold, it is a place that contains several drugs like multivitamins, blood tonic, malaria drugs, cough, and carttach drugs, eye drops, headaches, and many other drugs that cure human deficiencies in the immune system. A person that is in charge of selling or producing a drug is called a pharmacist.

When did you start using this service

I started using a pharmacy store in childhood, I remember running several errands for my parent with paper descriptions of what drugs I am to buy in a pharmacy shop, back the most common drug I buy in a drug store is paracetamol or panadol, sometimes my dad often come home with OREPTHAL blood tonic, malaria drugs like LUMERTEM and body pains like DICLOFENAC, TOPFENAC, which was bought from a pharmacist store.

What is special about them

• They make medicine available for people to use.
• They save lives by selling drugs to people who are going through health problems.
• They sell verifies drugs with NAFDAC endorsement.
• They educate customers on the need to comply with the prescription of drugs.
• They play an important role in reducing fewer admission of patients to the hospital as a result of achieving positive health outcomes.

What area should they improve?

• Reduction in the cost of drugs
• Expansion of footprint in local areas
• The supplement of pharmacy with more prescription
• integration of beverages, drinks, and cosmetics should be canceled in a pharmacy store.
• At a point of care, dispensing drugs within or nearby clinic and hospital.
