It's with great pleasure that I participate in this contest hosted by @ngoenyi on how well you know steemit, sit down relax while I take you through the journey of steemit

Tell me what you know about steemitIMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

Well, If I am to talk about this headline alone, I wouldn't be through for days,
Steemit is a decentralized social media platforms which pays users for writing quality content, it pays/upvote users dollars in worth of your post content, this pays out, automatically converted to a crypto currencies called steem, steem dollar and tron, these are the reward you earn from post when it pays out, your steem can be traded for money or you might chose to strengthen your account by powering up (which is known as STEEM POWER), these rewards can be earned in two way, either you are a author or a curator, An author writes quality content to get rewarded on the steemit social media while a curator are those that rewards your post in which half of the upvote will be theirs, steemit guarantees users on security level if the following rules stated in registration process are followed.

  • STEEM: steem is derived from your upvoted post after payout on the seventh day, it is a crypto currency, listed on exchanges for trading, steem can be paired with coin like btc for trade and can be sent anywhere at anytime, steem can be converted to steem power through the process called power up.

  • STEEM POWER(SP) it is also derived from the post paid out..you can choose to keep you steem and power it up to strengthen your account which is advisable, steem power gives you the power to curate post and earn curation rewards, the increase in your steem power increases your curation reward and also it influences you on the steemit blockchain, it also increases your reputation, increases the value of your wallet, the higher your steem power the higher your influence on the steemit network.

  • TRON(TRX): Tron as well, is rewarded alongside with steempower when your post pays out, it is also a crypto currency that is tradable and can also be sent anywhere anytime.

In steemit consistently is the key, activeness is also vital and patience is the ultimate power, steemit doesn't owe any user, in steemit they pay you to learn, interesting right, you can also explore different community and learn about their ways of doing things socially, making entries in different contest in different community and mingling among users.

How can you earn in steemit

IMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

As I have said earlier, you can earn through writing quality content which is the author reward. Curation of post is also another way to earn on steemit which mean by upvoting other accounts and gaining half of the vote given when the post pays out.
Investment users can earn through investment by buying steem, which mean holding of coin so as to profit from the increase in the rise of the steem which automatically increases your investment, users can also buy steem and power up(steem power) to strengthen their account so as to enable them earn through curation rewards.

Is upvotes guaranteed?

IMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

This has been a major issue on the steemit blockchain as every user want his or her post to be upvoted but one thing is certain if your post is worth the value of upvote it will surely be curated, so by this the guarantee of voting on your post is based on your writing skills or should I say the quality of your post.

Should you stick to one community?

IMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

No, more than enough communities are there on the steemit media where you can participate in different contest in different communities, given you the chance to widen your knowledge about different topics, example are steemalive, health republic, promosteem, steem cryptoacademy, steem school, project hope, zero to infinity and many more.

How do you sign someone up, you can use screenshots to demonstrate.

Should you envy others who receive upvotes when you have not received?

IMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

I believe there is that specific time you will shine when you keep doing what you do, envy can be tempting but do not, because you will loose concentration on your work, all of your focus will be on another persons hard work which paid out, so why can't you work hard also and receive your blessings in disguise, so envy is not helpful, just focus on your work and include prayer and your time will come.

How can you improve in your writing skills?

IMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

I find it hard to write 100 words as I have left the writing days, since passing out of my secondary education, but been an active user on steemit and ever since I joined in March 2020, writing has become part of me mainly because I involve my self In writing quality content almost everyday, it has improve my writing skill to some level that when I read I find it hard to believe that I actually wrote them, but note some are gifted writer but since I am not among the gifted I learn to write through reading of books, reading of post and writing in my own ways.

What sacrifices are you willing to make to succeed in steemit

IMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

Am willing to sacrifice anything, so far its amount to my success on steemit, mostly, time is one factor that is very crucial when working on steemit but still 90 percent of my time is used on steemit everyday.
Two, the capital I make on other businesses I run online will be invested in my steem account so as to power up and contribute to the rise of steem in the market.
Three, delegation I will delegate most of my steem power to communities so as to be able to support users like me when they make a post.

What are your plans towards growing your steempower?

IMG-20210510-WA0112.jpg

As a new user on steemit, I have been mentored about the impact of powering up of steem, my plans are simple, when my post pays out as sdb I convert back to liquid steem and I will then power up using my active key to command the action, and more so, buying of steem and powering up has been on my mind lately, but as a result of low capital at hand, this has been the delay of this decision.

Conclusion
