Good morning everyone.Today,I want to talk about Udelekpu.This is a tree ,with the botanical name Jatropha curcas.The Igbo people of the south east of Nigeria call it Udelekpu.I dont really know what this tree is called in your own language.

Udelekpu is God's wonderful gift to mankind.Why do I call it a wonderful gift??..It is because this leaf is used to treat malaria, cough and catarrh.

HOW TO USE IT
Collect good number of the Udelekpu leaves and wash it properly.
Use about 4 or 5 litre of water,cook it well.You cook it for about 30 to 40 minutes.Now it is ready for consumption.

HOW TO DRINK IT
The drink is for both adult and children.An adult can take 30 cl and 15cl.

As I mentioned earlier, Udelekpu can treat malaria,cough and catarrh.

What is Malaria??
Malaria is a disease caused by transmission of malaria parasite into the body by female anopheles mosquitoes.Malaria is a disease of the blood that causes chill and high fever.It is spread by mosquitoes when they deposit malaria parasite in the blood of the host.

What is Cough??
Cough is simply a reflex mechanism to expel any irritant from the trachea or wind pipe.

What is Catarrh?
It is one of the common illness.It is usually associated with a common cold.The common cause of catarrh is cold.

Udelekpu is a powerful and a wonderful leaf that has good medicinal properties.If you try it,you will see how wonderful Udelekpu leaf could be.
