INTRODUCTION

Food is ment to be eaten, but eating excess of the bad foods which am going to list out has a very bad effect on our body which may lead to death. Let's eat wisely to stay alive.

What is food

Food is anything that we ate that makes us healthy and strong.

Is there food that can kill?

Yes food can kill if not taken the proper way, Below are the food that can kill.

  • pufferfish-This type of fish is so poisonous Because it contains deadly poison known as tetridotoxin. When the poison enter someone mouth it can completely shut down the respiratory system.

  • Apple seed- Apple seed has been considered deadly when it is swallowed .

  • Nutmeg- excessive use of nutmeg causes someone to hallucinate, collapse and even death.

  • Bitter Almond- Its raw form is poisonous.
    Having seen all this food that can kill Lets see what Balance diet is.

Harmful effects of unhealthy food

  • Runny stomach -Eating of some junk foods can cause runny stomach because of the ingredients used in preparing it.

  • Over weight - some unhealthy food Makes someone to be over weight. Such as white breads.

  • Cancerous- some foods causes cancer but because of the taste people keep eating it.Example CAN foods.

  • Skin Rashes. Some of the unhealthy food reacts to our body and give our skin rashes.

What is Balanced diet

A Balanced diet are foods that carries all the Six foods classes such as carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, fat andoil, water, fiber.

Importance of Balanced diet

  • It gives us energy to work and do strong things.
  • It makes us to grow well.
  • It repairs our body from harmful substances that can make us fall sick.
  • Drink enough water to help digest the foods
  • It helps to relax the brain and make it to function well.
  • It helps in weight control.

which food is considered Healthy

  • Oats- This food helps to lower the cholesterol.
  • Bananas- This is a very good food because is high in vitamin B6 and fiber.
  • Oranges - Oranges are very good because of it's antioxidant.
  • Carrots- are good they contains vitamin k.
  • Grains- Grains provides energy to the body.
  • Avocados -This diet is very good with fats and oil that are beneficial to the body.

In summary - Eating vegetables, grains and cooking at home can help is to overcome some problems unhealthy food can cause.

Conclusion

This is great!!! We can't survive without food, but we should no what enters our mouth. I have seen the list of healthy foods. I will know how to balance my diet now. Excellent presentation from you @okere-blessing
