The diary game|| Attending a convention at Umuahia, Abia State Nigeria|| I have Powered up 200 steem|| #club5050

Hello lovely people of steemalive community. Trust we all are doing great? This is my first post of the year. I am pleased and so happy to be among those in this year 2022. It has been a very busy festive period. I wish to share my how my day went yesterday.......

I never planned attending this convention and I never knew it's gonna happen so soon. I got a call from a friend the night before the event that the event was gonna be the next day. But I was so unprepared to travel...... I told him I was gonna check if it can be possible for me to attend.

I woke up as early as possible to get the house chores done on time. I prepared breakfast and also washed some clothes. When I rounded up with everything, I took my bath, dressed up and left to meet with others at the park. A bus was meant to pick us up from one particular spot to umuahia. When I got to the park, we were almost complete, it was just remaining few persons to complete the bus.

After about 30mins. of waiting, they all arrived and then we left for umuahia. We got to the event place within 40mins drive. We were the first set of persons to arrive there. We used the opportunity to take pictures and meet with each other and also formally introduce ourselves. While we were still outside taking pictures, others were still arriving the venue. I met my colleagues, brothers and friends on this very day. It was really a fun moment for me.

The event started immediately our guests arrived the venue. We had dignitaries that honoured the invitation. We had some lectures from most speakers.



The main motive for this conference was just to arrange the Abia youths for the next year election that is coming up. We have been seeing such thing and I know that was their motive for this gathering....

Although we had a pleasant time. There was enough to eat and drink. The event lasted for 5 hours after which everyone was set to return back to base. Most persons took more pictures after the event, while most of us waited patiently in the bus for them to arrive so that we can go.

We got to Aba faster while coming back. I took tricycle back home from the park because I was so exhausted. I got home took my bath, ate dinner and went straight to bed without hesitation.
