Introduction

Scam simply means fraud. Scamming has become the order of the day. It so much these days in our country Nigeria. Internet fraud happens every blessed day. The reigning thing now is the one we know as "Yahoo", no young guy wants to do physical work to make ends meet. They always want the quick money. Most persons have died in that course. While some are still enjoying what they do .

I will be sharing my experience today with us. I was scammed of huge amount of money last year December, it was really a shock to me but I have to let go. Please read through and learn how it happened.

How I was Scammed or narrowly escaped being scammed. (Write about how you lost or nearly lost money to fraud)

On the 27th of November 2021, I was introduced to an online project by my brother. He has done the project for 1 month before he started introducing to his friends and family. This project is called "ADM"; Admiral. My brother started from a certain level called level 1, he paid #17000 into the account provided and was asked to do some certain tasks to enable withdrawal his income. This tasks was just to upload an image of how you were able to share ADM on other social media. The tasks were quite very simple. He did all of that and then he was able to cash out after some weeks. This was how my brother introduced me to ADM and I decided to do that.

I asked my brother to create an account for me immediately and I transferred a huge amount of money to him and he did everything that needed to be done. He created a wallet too, in that what you will see your level and the available money in your wallet. It was giving me joy when I remember how much I was going to cash out. I started my tasks as usual. I started with level 4 which was about 1million +, the tasks were so easy that I do them for leaving for work each day. The scammers also created a Whatsapp group where everyone was to lay any compliant, we were told what to do and what not to do. They also announce the particular day each level can be able to withdraw. Everything looked so real because the Admin in each group will always sound nice to each one of us.

This process continued untill December 29th, when on of the admins said we all need to pay a task that the federal government was disturbing them with some issues I don't know. Everyone in the group was so surprised to hear that. We all suggested that they take the tasks from our money and then balance us the remaining money. They kept saying we should pay the tasks else, nothing can be done.

After one week of waiting for our money to be released and nothing happened, the scammers started locking up the groups one after another. When you visit their DM, they will not respond. That was when everyone realized it was scammers. A lot of persons invested 2million, 5 million and these scammers made away with all the money. It's really heartbreaking but what can we do?

I am pained because that's my business money I used for that project. But I still believe I will bounce back soonest. This is my story of how I was scammed last year.
