I am so amazed to be among the participants of this beautiful contest. Steemalive is always giving us opportunities to share our life time stories. I am so happy indeed.

It's my job history that am about to share with us, how it all started, when and where. I guess you would love to find out in detail.......

My Job History

In the year 2012, was when I got my first job. When I rounded up from high school, my mum refused that I get a job at that time. This made me waist my 2years at home all in the name of College. When I finally got admission into college, I seized the opportunity to experience life. I got a job for myself without my parents knowing about it, infact, I didn't tell anyone not even my brothers.

It was a teaching job in a school around my hostel. The job was quite cool, I had to teach one class in the primary section and two classes from the junior secondary. Then I was paid #5,000 naira only after a service I render for 1 month. I was enjoying the pay because it's my first experience, I thought they were really paying me well for my services. I turned out to be the best teacher in that school.

A time came when I was due for their pay, (I was actually getting an invitation from another school I applied for to come over and discuss remuneration). I met the school management to ask for an increase in my salary, he asked how much I needed them to add? I told him I need #8,000 as my monthly salary. He refused and said he can only add #1,000 making it #7,000 naira. I refused and left that school for another job. I worked for just 4months there.

My Second Job

This time around it's a company that deals on production of perfumes, powder, some skin care, and facial cleanser, toiletries in general.

I started working there immediately I left that school because they where going to pay me higher than the school. It's #10,000 they accepted to pay me. You know the good thing about these jobs were that I don't need to take transportation to work. It was just around my hostel, so I just Walk down to the company and save all my money. But then, saving was never part of my lifestyle. I will get the money and eat all.

I worked in this company for 6months, everything was fine, I go to work everyday, I still go to school. But any day I would go to school, I have to ask a colleague to cover up for me until am back. This lasted until I decided I don't want to work again. I started my own business. Jewelry Business.

My Third Job

This time, I was self employed. The name of my school was Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK). It was located at Anambra State, Awka to be precise. So, I would go Onitsha and purchase my jewelry, then return to school and make my sales. This business was cool because I was making a whole lot of profit from it. I sold jewelry for almost my whole stay at school. When I stopped any form of job was my finals, I needed concentration to finish up.

After school, I stayed a whole year at home without any form of job. I wanted to start up my jewelry business, but the environment wasn't pleasing at all.

My Fourth Job

A friend of mine introduced me to a trending market then, it was a slippers worn indoor (flip-flops). If I buy the
slippers, I would go to a market and pay for a space where I display the slippers for people to see and purchase. The market was booming and I always make sales everyday. I buy one Slippers for 200 and I will sell for #1,000 or #800 or #500 depending on the individual. I did this business for 2months before people started joining the market causing the price to depreciate, I stopped and started an online sales.

My Fifth Job

I would go to a shopping plaza here in Aba, and purchase "plain and pattern", then go online and post it for people to see and buy. I would waybill their order in batches because that way was easier for me. The business was moving so slow but I was enduring it because I was left with no choice. I did this for 6months.

My Sixth Job

Now September last year, I got an automatic job in a primary school, where I worked as a class teacher. The job just suddenly came without me applying for it. The job was cool but so stressful because I need to write my lesson notes, mark books, teach the pupils. And the lesson notes are always marked every weekend so if you don't meet up, your salary will be deducted. This job was so tedious, but I don't have a choice that was why I remained there. I was paid #20,000 per month. I do my work diligently on daily basis. My lesson notes is always the talk of the week. My class report booklet is always the best done and the neatest after each section.

I taught in that school for 8months and some weeks, before I left to concentrate with one job. I was steeming alongside my teaching job so at a point I noticed and realized that I was just been slaved away through teaching. I took the bold step of becoming a full time steemian.

My Current Job

I currently work with STEEMIT, at our head office located at 208 Azikiwe Road Aba, Abia State. Nigeria. Where we mentor people on steemit. This my current job has brought nothing but smile on my beautiful face. The job is cool, it's self employed and I don't stress myself so much to get paid. I do my work diligently, and my pay comes with so much ease. I will continue to be grateful to the one who introduced and brought me to steemit. This current job, I don't wish to quit.

When I look at yesterday and look at today, I must say "there is a clear difference".It is said that nothing good comes easy.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I do appreciate this contest @steemalive.

Well teaching was never a bad idea and doing it was pretty cool. Steemit real and the pay is reasonable but you have to work hard to get paid. I love every you did because is life venture dear.

Ya teaching is not a bad idea, but it was so tedious for me. I still bless God that I took the bold step now.

Thank you for coming around

I like Steemit but I have issues making it a full time job. It seems to require a lot of socialising. A skill I am not so good at.
