Children's Day is a day set aside to celebrate the beautiful and wonderful beings called children.
Theres just something beautiful about children,they spread light and love wherever they go,you can't just help but love them.

Of course we're not limited to one day to celebrate children but because of how truly special they are and the joy children bring wherever they're found,that's why it's important for the world to take a pause from all their hustle,bustle and busyness to show children that they are really important and that we value them.

Universal children's day according to history originated in Turkey on April 23, 1920 and later in the World Conference for the Welfare of Children held in Geneva Switzerland in 1925.

Rubab Mansoor mooted the idea of a Universal Children’s Day,and it was later sponsored by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954.

27th May 2021 is this year's national children's day in Nigeria. It's not a holiday per se, on the contrary schools organize inter- competitions, dance, and music to celebrate the day. This day for children is an opportunity for them to show and express themselves and their talents and also be happy that they are children,while for adults it's a time for sober reflections.

Children are precious and deserve to be loved,cared for and nurtured properly by their parents and as such there's no specific gift given to a child that'll show how valuable and precious they are as much as love and care,but in regards to this contest,for a children's day gift,I'll give my little sister a bicycle.

She's been asking for one for a while now and I think it'll be the perfect children's day gift to make her happy and smile at least for this year.
