Just like every other thing, agreement is important between the two families to set a day for traditional marriage.
I think before the even fixed date for the traditional married the two family must have agreed on the date before any other thing.

Yes brother this the culture of many countries both families have to agree to same thing like They decide marriage date properly and many other events related to Marriage
