transportation is the movement of human being, goods, animal, from one place to another and it can take place in the land, sea, air, pipeline etc
you can also put transportation in any form as long as it involved in moving of things.
Ancient and modern transportation
ancient transportation : ancient transportation was so stressful the only move by land or water the only transportation the used was, animal, wheel,boat or walking and this transportation can only be used in land and sea.
Sea : the ancient days the sea transportation the used was wooden boat which cannot contain a lot goods, and we're gotten from logs
land : the major ways of transportation in the ancient days was walking through land, people walk with goods on their head market or wherever the are going to, because the started making used of the animals and finally upgrade to wheel.

technology has help a lot in improving transportation making easy for human used.
also it have upgrade it from land and Sea to land, Sea and air etc
land : technology have really have help us and n reducing stress people no longer stress their self walking from one place to another with goods on their head because technology have provided cars, motorcycle, tricycle to travel with
Sea : in the ancient days the only make use of wooden boat to travel, but with the help of technology we now have different ways to travel by sea with a lot goods, we now have speed boat , ship etc
air : in the ancient days the was nothing like Airplane but with the help of technology we can now travel by air or transport your goods from one country to another country without stress and it said to be the fastest transportation
How modern transportation affects our environment
modern transportation have affects our environment in so many ways it also contribute to the cause of pollution.
How modern transportation can be improved go become environment friendly
transportation have make movement easy, you can now moved your goods from one place to another.
modern transportation will be better it the have a better source of power like the solar system ,electricity and wind energy if the producers can produce cars like that to help less pollution it will be more better.
Transportation method available in my city
in my city we do used the regular type of transportation which are land, air,sea but I believe years letter it my will develop to use other type of transportation.
Conclusion
Transportation have really helped in so many not only for the movement of goods and services but other aspect like making movement faster than the way it used to be in the modern Days for example you now travel from port Harcourt to Lagos understand few minutes using flight.
