INTRODUCTION

Hello, I was happy to join the road show for the fourth time in Lagos state and I can gladly tell you that it was a success. The main focus of the road show is to spread the news about steemit to many people and recruit the interested ones. I am grateful to this wonderful community for the provision of road shows and other ways of keeping members active in promoting Steemit. We made efforts once again on the 4th day of promotion in Lagos and I'll love it if you'll read through my post to know how it went.

PREPARATIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS

On Friday night, me and @mikemm discussed about how the road show was going to be, I asked him to pick a location that he would easily access. Finally, we chose Alhaji Masha Roundabout, What3word
Surulere L.G. A, Lagos State. We have engaged in a road show there for once, but it rained that day so we wanted to give it a second try.

We already had four people expected to be at the road show, @ruthjoe @misterfab, @beautybb and @mikemm. We started preparing that morning but @beautybb was sick and couldn't join us for the day. @ruthjoe was first to show up and @mikemm later joined us. We started promoting Steemit at our chosen location by 10 am. We mounted the steemit banner, took out some fliers and began to talk to people about Steemit.

is actually a busy area, and a commercial environment, so we had the opportunity of meeting different classes of folks. One funny thing that baffles me is that most people who show the most interest appear not to have a smart phone. We engaged in conversations with so many people, and gave out so many fliers. Recruitment was a challenge because most of them were in a haste and some of them weren't with their phones. It's pathetic that some people no longer move about with their phones because of terrorism and insecurity. @mikemm talked to a young man who showed plenty interest and promised to register as soon as he gets his phone handy.
Don't ever think that steemit is only for young ones. I met older friends who displayed some potential steemian traits, and I talked with them for long, but when it was time to recruit one of them, he didn't have an email, so on the process of trying to create a new one for him, he received a call and pleaded to postpone the registration. We made reasonable efforts to promote steemit, convince and register people on Steemit

MY PERSONAL EFFORT

It was tiring to talk with many people who were not ready for registration but were interested.

Finally @ruthjoe directed me to a man who wanted to register, when I was trying to register him, he couldn't access his email so along the line, another man came around and displayed interest too, so I followed him up and recruited him immediately as @polite247. He is a computer engineer and a computer consultant. I assisted him set up his page and he was happy and ready to start steeming it.

We spent a lot of time registering @polite247 because of poor network and absence of an email address. I created one for him and got him recruited.

CONCLUSION AND THE REST OF THE DAY

After everything, we could not go to enjoy ourselves and have refreshment because of our limited time and further appointments, so we packed our stuffs. Took few more pictures and parted ways..
While at home, even though she was sick, @beautybb had the opportunity to recruit one person and she did so. She registered @faithf and also helped her set up her page.
There were so many newbies that wanted more knowledge about steemit so she arranged a seminar for them which we will attend today and lecture them on what they need to do to steem it hard.

We will always utilize every single opportunity that comes across us to steem it hard and recruit new ones. The road show was successful and joyous.
