Achievements and Credits

Williams was talented in learning different languages and he became fluent after many years in 8 Languages French, Latin, Hebrew, English, Spanish, Italian, and German and Greek. He attended the Cambridge University of Erasmus.

His ideas always proved to be controversial to his fellow clergy men. Later, he was severally summoned before the council. On one occasion, he was summoned before John Bell, the Chancellor of Diocese of Worcester. Even though there were no formal charges laid against him, they just saw his efforts as a treat to them. On one occasion, his Rey

Tyndale translated the first ever English complete Bible, drawn direct from the raw Hebrew and Greek ancient scrolls, His translation work was the first English work to be done with the printing press and also notably was the first English Bible translation to use Jehovah, God's real name.
His achievements was seen a a direct challenge to the catholic churches and some laws in England concerning translation of bibles and church duties. There was a ban on translating English Bibles due to some previous misplacements that caused disunity and uproar. But Tyndale managed to do his work even though he knew he would be executed if he was noticed.
He stood before many critics and accusers who were against the forwardness and accuracy of God's word the Bible. He countered many translations of the Bible that didn't align with the holy writings of the raw scrolls.

Finally, after fleeing from traitors many times he found himself arrested and jailed in a catholic castle called Vilvoorde, for one year, he was in prison. Afterwards, he was convicted of heresy, and was executed by strangulation. Later his body was burnt on a stake.

What I learned from Tyndale's life

Tyndale's life story teaches me that no matter how effective I might be doing the right thing, criticism will always be there. Also, when people are bent on gaining prominence and respect through the negative way, the good ones might be influenced or pressured to give up on doing what is right. But in Tyndale's case, he didn't. He made up his mind to even die for what is right. Perseverance and courage are the key qualities he had.

According John Foxe, a scholar, Tyndale once engaged in an argument with one educated but blasphemous clergyman who said that God's people needed the Popes more than they needed God's word the Bible. Tyndale had this famous reply to him, I quote:

I defy the Pope, and all his laws and if God spares my life, ere many years, I will cause the boy that driveth the plow to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost

Conclusion

Tyndale has been a genius throughout history for his courage and sacrifice to facilitate the spread of the true writings of the Bible. You won't mention 10 martyrs of the 18th to 19th century without adding his name.

Tyndales work will never be forgotten by any who love God's Word the Bible. Even at the risk of his life he continued. He wouldn't have envisaged how far reaching his translation imparted history. Good choice of a genius. Well crafted.

Wow....
This genius is a rare one, studying and mastering different languages is not an easy task.... Even translating the holy Bible to an understandable language requires the leading of the holy ghost and much intellectual energy, indeed he's a great man.
