UGANDA MATRY'S DAY

Am Milly Gabby from Uganda Kampala studying at Makerere University business school Nakawa.

Ladies and gentle men's today I have to talk about the Uganda Matyr's day celebrated annually on 3rd June in Uganda every year at Namugongo Kampala Uganda.This day is Avery important and religious day celebrated annually on 3rd June by Christians in Uganda.This day is the day when the the Uganda Matyrs we're killed doing for Christianity all almost over the world but based in Uganda at Namugongo where almost large numbers of masses of Christians over the world gather up for prayers from different countries to celebrate that day in Uganda .

  But due to Covid 19 break down, every thing turned around and thus time afew people attended the mass at Namugongo and on acard to keep social distance which hurt most of the Christians and most of them had started forgetting if it since there were no more gathering as a crowd.This time it was so boring yet those days it was too massive and every one enjoyed it were by schools would take there students at Namugongo to Celebrate that day which never happened this time . It was really so sad.
  Actually I attended mass but there were so few people and it was really boring that most people did not attend the mass.

The Uganda Matrys containedof 22 Anglicans and 22 Catholic converts to Christianity in the historical Kingdom of Buganda .They we're killed by kabaka Mwanga the second in Buganda during his reign from 1885 to 1885 and the first three where Nuwa Serwanga ,Yusuf Rugarama and Mukko Kakumba .The youngest was St.Kizittto 1872 June 3,1886.
The kabaka ordered for there killing because he thought that they had gotten rebellious ideas which led to there execution which was mainly done at Namugongo which had been gazetted as a killing field by Buganda's king jya agu Kabinuli from 1750 to 1780 and other places included Mityana, Munyonyi,Mengo,Kisenyi,Busega among others in Uganda.

Since then it is regarded as aholy place and most Christians across all over the world gather there for prayers and the have a belief that their prayers are taken directly to God through through the Matyrs who are believed to be in Heaven because of their strong faith in God and urge the christianians to pray through the Uganda Matyrs your prayers will be had .I Love all Good bless u.
