WHAT IS STEEMIT?

Steemit is a blockchain based blogging and social media website, which rewards its users with the cryptocurrency steem for publishing and curating content. Source

In Steemit, users are expected to produce and share quality posts with original content by using their brain and the platform rewards such posts.

HOW CAN YOU EARN IN STEEMIT?

Basically, there are three major ways an individual can earn in steemit.

1. You can earn in steemit by creating original content quality posts which will receive votings or curating from those who read them. When your post is voted or curated, you earn money as the author.
2. You earn money in steemit by voting or curating a post. Each time you curate a post, when the post pays out, 50% goes to the author while the other 50% goes to the curator as curator reward. However, it is important to note that how much you make as a curator is dependent on your steem power because your steem power is a portion of your earnings which gives you the ability to earn from voting. So the more your steem power, the more you earn from voting a post, and the more value is added when you vote a post.
3. You can also invest in steemit. You can buy steem and store it as steem power so that you can earn curation rewards and also take advantage of price increase. If you buy steem and keep, once the price rises, you resell and make profit from it.

IS UPVOTE GUARANTEED?

I can say that upvote is not absolutely guaranteed. However, when one is consistent in creating original content quality posts, most of his post if not all will definitely be upvoted.

SHOULD YOU STICK TO ONE COMMUNITY?

The answer is no. No steemian is limited to one community. You can subscribe to as many community as possible.

HOW DO YOU SIGN SOMEONE UP?

To sign someone up, first you have to make sure that the person has a valid email address and a valid phone number because codes will be sent to them which is needed to complete the registration. Once you have these two things, the following steps are taken:

• Go to steemit official website (https://steemit.com)
• Click on sign up. It will take you to the next page.
• Enter a valid username
• Enter the person's valid email address. Then click on send code below it. A code will be sent to the email address. Retrieve the code and enter it in the appropriate box.
• Enter the person's valid phone number and click send code below it. A code will be sent to the phone number. Retrieve it and enter it in the appropriate box.

• Then thick the I'm not a robot box and click continue

The master password is generated. Go to your wallet with it and then download the PDF containing all the keys. It is important to note that the master password is used to generate all the other keys and all of them must be kept safe

SHOULD YOU ENVY OTHERS WHO RECEIVE UPVOTES WHEN YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED?

There is no need to envy them because as far as i am creating quality content posts, it will still get to me. I only need to be consistent and patient. I can also take advantage of the option of increasing my steem power and vote others thereby earning curation rewards.

HOW CAN YOU IMPROVE IN YOUR WRITING SKILLS

There are various ways i can do that.

• I need to make out time to read the posts of other people on the platform.
• Since i can write on any subject, i need to put down every thought that crosses my mind.
• I need to work towards creating original quality content by making research.
• When i read other peoples' quality posts, i learn from their writing styles to improve in my own.
• When i write a material, before posting it, i need to go through it again to correct any mistake before finally posting it.

WHAT SACRIFICES ARE YOU WILLING TO MAKE TO SUCCEED IN STEEMIT

First, i do not need to cash out all the time from my wallet. I need to power much of my rewards up to steem power. Additionally, i need to make out time to create awareness and recruit more persons into the ecosystem.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS TOWARDS GROWING YOUR STEEMPOWER?

Since i know that for me to grow in steemit, i need to increase my steem power which in turn increases my influence. I will ensure that the author rewards i will get from posting good quality content post will be 100% powered up. Also from other things i do to make a living, i will save some money to buy more steem and power it up.

In conclusion, i will say that Steemit is worth being part of.
