A BETTER LIFE//DIARY GAME//10/9/21// THE WEDDING PARTY

Good day everyone.. trust we are all keeping well??.
Yeah, so would like to share how this day went with us all.

It was 5am in the morning, I and my friends who came over to the soon to b bride's house the previous night for the preparation of her wedding, slept in a room and by now we've all woken up from our sleep so as to start getting prepared for our friend's engagement ceremony which was to take place by 7am in the morning. We were so happy and anxious about the day.

We all went to have our bath and got dressed before 7am. Our bride also was beautifully dressed in her lovely native attire, then we all entered the car with the bride and zoomed off to the hall where the engagement would take place.

When we got to the hall, we remained inside the car with the bride until the time she would be called in. After the wait, we we're finally called in, so we danced in with the bride (although I am not a good dancer but I had to still shake my body).

After the entery of the bride, a lot of activities were carried out according to the culture and the engagement ceremony ended.

After taking few pictures, we entered the car and off to our way back home, so as to get prepared for the church wedding which was to start by 11 am. We got home and hurriedly changed our dress, o the bride this time was wearing a beautiful white wedding gown.

The church was just a stone throw from the house, so aside from the bride who entered a car, we walked down to the church. The service was wonderful, right from the beginning till the end of the wedding programme.

After the joining of the couple's on the alter of God and signing of wedding certificate in the church, the program ended and then we all moved straight to the hall where the reception would hold.

The hall was beautifully decorated with people already seated. I met most of my long time friends, it was really an happy day for me to see most of this friends, we exchange greetings and then it was time for the bride to come inside the hall with the groom. I was part of the "asoebi ladies" so we all danced in with the bride and groom.

Alot of activities took place after the dance, there was enough to eat and drink, I enjoyed everything about the wedding.
It was time to go home as it was already getting late, so I bade the bride goodbye and wished her well.
