Hello everyone I believe you all are doing great in this wonderful platform. A few so happy when ever I have something to share to you all we respect to my daily experiences. Like everyone knows that this is the completion of the year I'm so many people and so many office is more especially schools always go go on short vacation. In this article, I will be sharing my end of the term experience as a General Mathematics teacher.
INTRODUCTION
Like it has always been for teachers, every moment is loaded with work to do - no breathing space for a lengthy recreational activity. The term began with plenty tasks and concluded in similar way. Before the vacation of the school where I teach, it took me few days to round off my termly mathematics result for the classes I teach.
PHASE ONE (SCRIPT MARKING)
The first phase of the process was marking of exam scripts. This is the most stressful and time consuming part of result computation. This comprises the development of marking scheme and marking of the exam papers. After this leads to the next, recording of scores.
PHASE TWO (RECORDING SCORES)
Due to the imminence of the vacation date and the compulsion to give results to the students before vacating I started my recording ASAP. Nevertheless, recording is something that requires great articulation and carefulness. So, I did that without being rushy. Fortunately for me, I concluded the whole recording before the dusk of the day I completed marking my script.
THE SUDDEN VISITATION
It was like a dream the day I was supposed to start uploading my records for each student on the school's website as I got to school and brokendown with severe sickness. God being so merciful, one of my colleagues has a sister nurse whom he took me to for serious treatment. I was given two solutions (drips) the first day with 3 injections. The treatment lasted for 3 days with a total of 7 injections. Finally, I regained my strength and completed my task (records upload) later.
CONCLUSION
It gives me joy and satisfaction when I execute my work excellently. Although I had a disruption alongside but it didn't stop me from meeting my target as a teacher. I appreciate @kingreechy for his good mentorship and @steemalive community for their support so far.
