Its good to be good and one good turn deserves another. Those are the wise sayings that I cherished so much. Do you share same view with me? Either yes or no must be your answer. But myself strongly believe those sayings. The truth is that once you're good to people, despite life challenges and its distresses, reverse must be the case. Its two sides traffic. Once more, its advisable to help the needy because, tomorrow may be your turn and someone else must help you. But once you're not ready to lay a helping hand to the needy, then answer me, who will show you act of kindness on that faithful day when you will be in need? . while waiting for your answer, let me progress with my act of kindness.

So, today, am going to update you guys on how I showed an act of kindness to the needy. Here we gooooo

MY KIND FRIEND AND SISTER

I have a lovely friend to whom I can refer to as my sister and mother. She is so kind and loving. Our love for each other is so strong that we can't do without each other. Whenever am in need, she always come to my aid and rescue. Even if she does not have much to give at the time, her words and encouragement serves as the best aid or treatment. This my friend is much older than me and our relationship reminds me of the friendship between King David and Jonathan. Yes, our friendship proves true to the Bible sayings which says that A true friend shows love at all times. And its a brother who is born for times of distress(proverbs 17:17). So like I said earlier, one good turn deserves another and there is this IBO adage which says If left hand wash right hand, right hand should do likewise. Both of us have been showing each other love until now that we decided to extend our kindness together to a needy. Who then?

OUR ACT OF KINDNESS

My friend's cousin brother's wife called for help. Do you know what it is? Hahaha, its nothing but good news. Her visa is out and she will soon leave Nigeria to a far distant country. London precisely. Therefore, she wants her to aid in arranging vegetables for her like waterleaf, pumpkin, oha, ukazi or affang, uziza and bitterleaf. My friend extended the information to me and I decided to help out. It took us upto a week before we were able to finish up. We went to several markets in hunt of those items or leafs. So we sliced some like (ukazi and pumpkin) and arranged others as required just as you can see below

CONCLUSION/LESSONS ON KINDNESS

Goodness, love and kindness works hand in hand. Though, I don't know her cousin's wife in person, still I laid a helping hand because it impressed me so much to know that good thing is coming on her way and I happily share in her joy. Please dear friends, let us all open our hearts to show love and kindness to one another. Either by words or action. Deeds of kindness do attract God's favour. But mind you, while doing it, don't expect any thing in return from same person. Know that the living God notices it and your reward is in his hand. In due time, he will reward you only if you do not tire out. Have a nice day.
