It's good to be back here again to share my post with you. Today I will be showing you the 5 meals that I enjoyed within the week, and I bet you will enjoy reading the post.
Meal 1: Lunch: Jellof Rice With Spinach Sauce and Yogurt Drink
This meal, jellof rice with spinach sauce is a very nutritious meal that enjoyed with in this week, and I was the one who prepared it.
I love this meal because it is a balanced diet; it contains nutrients like carbohydrates, calories, protein, fiber, vitamins, iron calcium, fats and oil, etc.
The ingredients used in preparing this meal are:
- Rice
- Fresh tomatoes
- Onions
- Fresh Pepper
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Seasoning
- Beef
- Water
- Crayfish.
Looking at the quality of the meal, I give the estimated amount to be ₦2,000 (18.94 Steem)
Meal 2; Breakfast: Noodles Garnished With Fried Plantain and Coleslaw With A Side Glass of Wine
Ah, this is another delicious meal that I enjoyed this week and it was I, chef luchyl that prepared it. I am not a fan of noodles but each time I feel like eating it, I always try to make it palatable, oh la la la!! 😋. As you can see, the meal contains some basic nutrients which the body needs.
Getting the meal fixed just required few ingredients like
- Noodles
- Vegetable oil
- Fresh pepper
- Onion
- Salt
- Fish
- Seasoning
For the coleslaw I used - Cabbage
- Carrots
- Green beans
- Salad cream
No doubt you will agree with me that this is the type of meal you get to see in fast food outlets, eateries even 5 star hotels 😅. The estimated cost should be about ₦3,500 (33.14 Steem)
Meal 3: Dinner: Boiled Plantain With Ugba Sauce and A Glass of Strawberry Drink
This yummy healthy and nutritious meal I had for dinner is a combination of half ripen plantain and ugba sauce.
Food is all about variety and combination. I love native food so I decided to try this recipe and it came out well.
It's nutritional contents are protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, calcium, minerals, fiber The Ugba contains sodium, copper, iron, zinc, potassium, calcium, and magnesium including tannins, alkaloids, flavonoids, sterols, glycosides, and saponins
The ingredients are
- Plantain
- Ugba
- Pepper
- Salt
- Palm oil
- Ncha for the ugba sauce
- Crayfish
- Ehuru for seasoning
- Crayfish
The estimated cost of the meal in ₦2,000 (18.94 Steem)
Meal 4: Dinner: Fried Potatoes With Spinach Sauce and Akamu
Dinner is time for having light food and this meal is a good combination.
It was equally prepared by me.
The ingredients used in the preparation are;
- Potatoes
- Akamu (Pap)
- Spinach
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Onion
- Crayfish
The meal's cost is about ₦700 (6.63Steem)
Meal 5: Lunch: Abacha Garnished With Añara Leaf and Bubble Pop Lemon & Lime Drink
Native food is always a bae anytime.
I needed something light for the lunch because I had a heavy breakfast and Abacha came to my mind. Luckily I bought Ugba the other day so I had to make a quickie Abacha and the taste was oh la lacious!! ☺️
The ingredients I used are
- Dry Abacha which I soaked with warm water to make it soft
- Palm oil
- Ncha for the sauce
- Ehuru for seasoning
- Crayfish
- Salt
- Onion
- Pepper
- Pomo
- Akwụkwọ Añara (Añara leaf)
- Fish
The estimated cost of this meal is ₦1,500 (14.20 Steem)
This weekend, I decided to give myself a little treat and I'm glad I did. I had lots of yummylicious foods but I decided to post these ones so that some people like @precious123 and my coach @focusnow will not say that I am intimidating them🤣, but there's love in sharing and that's why I'm sharing this post with you 😍☺️
