Good Afternoon Everyone,

Good to be back to share my wonderful experience of how Lateness helped me yesterday.
I will start by saying that Lateness is not Always a Bad Thing, yes its not a desirable thing, but instead of assuming a person was been lackadaisical about keeping to time, you can ask why they were late. They may have left home quite early enough to meet up but circumstances along the way delayed them- bad weather, blockage of easy access road as a result of Road rehabilitation, Police or FRSC check points or even accident on the road.
Even when i agree that there are those who don"t bother to leave early, but remember that to Mary & Martha, in the Bible, Jesus arrived late to meet Lazarus before he died, but the good thing was that Jesus knew what he was doing.

Now coming back to how Lateness helped me Yesterday,
I was all dressed up ready to leave the house by 7:30AM, on getting to my Car, i discovered that i had a flat Tyre. since i knew i still had some time to get to the office because its not yet 8AM, which is the official opening time for work, i immediately proceeded to fix the spare tyre instead of going to board a public vehicle.

After Changing the tyre, it was already 7:45AM, leaving me with just 15 Minutes to get to the office. Om my way to the office, i was stopped by Police, already irritated and vexed with the fact that i was running behind time, i managed to remain calm to avoid further delay from the Police.

They(Police) went through my papers and my Driver License to ascertain if they were valid. seeing no faults, they insisted that " i must settle Boys". Now, i became very irritated and insisted that i was already late for work. Unfortunately, my plea fell to deaf ears.

Now i was back on the Road after managing to settle with the Police. On getting to the office,( with the time now 8:25am)
i discovered that the office was deserted- i saw non of my colleagues but their belongings were scattered in the office premise.

I inquired from the security personnel attached to the office of what would had happened, and i was told that some men attached to the state government for internal revenue collection came around with a bench warrant from the court to arrest any staff found in the office premises . On hearing it, i felt relieved knowing that all the frustrations that i went through to get to the office on time was now more like a blessing in disguise for me

Recalling all i went through that morning before arriving the office, i knew GOD was indeed at work for me, because if i wasn't late that morning, probably i would have been cooling off in the Police Cell.

Lateness indeed can be one of those things that may have to work together for the Good of God's Children.
