CONTEST #2|| HOW WELL DO YOU UNDERSTAND STEEMIT BY @kanuprecious.

Hello beautiful steemians of @steemalive community. I am pleased to be a participant of this very educative contest.
Everyday on steemit is a day to learn something new. I will answer these questions one after the other the best way I can.

1.Tell me what you know about steemit.

Steemit is a social blockchain that rewards its users when they make quality posts on the platform. Its a blog where you write, learn and earn cryptocurrency. Steemit is the first of its kind. I for one have not seen any platform that rewards its users by writing on their blogs.

2.How can you earn on steemit?

• Just like I noted earlier, steemit rewards its users when they make quality posts. By quality posts, I mean original contents, not coined from another person's ideas or copying someone else's work.You earn in steemit by being creative, writing interesting and eye-catching contents.

• You also earn on steemit by upvoting or curating other people's post. When the post pays out, you earn curation rewards.

• Another way to earn on steemit is by delegation, when you delegate steem power to communities you also earn on steemit.

3.Is upvotes guaranteed?

Upvotes are not guaranteed especially if you are in a community that does not make effort to support their subscribers. Meanwhile in other communities that see it as an importance to support their subscribers only upvotes post that have quality contents. Contents that are worth reading. You should not expect upvotes if you plagiarised your post or the post you made does not have enough information to attract curators.

4.Should you stick to one community?

I would say it is not advisable to stick to one community. One of the benefits of being on this platform is that you learn while you earn. Exploring communities while help you expand your knowledge. There is a lot to learn on this platform and you cannot get the full advantage of being a member of steemit if you stick to one community.

5.How do you sign someone up? You can use screenshots to demonstrate.

On your browser, type steemit.com. Touch the dashboard and when it drops down click on sign up.
The browser will take you to the sign up page.

This is the sign up page, all you need to do is click on the sign up option.

Once your browser takes you to this page, choose an username you are comfortable with.
Input your email address and phone number, verification codes will be sent to you, quickly input them and and confirm then click on continue.

It will take you next to this page, copy the password and tap continue.

Next input the master password and click on create the account.

Save your private keys by downloading the pdf and lastly click on go to wallet and youre done.

After the person has been signed up, guide them on how to write their achievement posts on newcomers community, teach them how to find other interesting communities and they are ready to steem it.

6.Should you envy others who receive upvotes when you have not received?

Envy is a bad thing to feel. It's not right to envy others who received upvotes because there are days when you received upvotes and those people didn't. Being envious will only make you loose focus meanwhile you should focus your energy on making quality posts so as to get your posts upvoted.

7.How can you improve in your writing skills?.

Writing is a thing of the mind, some have it as inbound gifts while others learn with time. You can improve your writing skills by reading other people's content. When you read a lot, make research and also put in practice what you learned from researching, you will surely improve in your writing skills. Also put into consideration the happenings around you on a daily basis, you can improve your writing skills.

8.What sacrifices are you willing to make to succeed in steemit?

In order to be a success on steemit, I am willing to invest my earnings by delegation of steem power to communities so that in the long run I will be an integral part of this blockchain.
Also volunteer to recruit new members in order to grow steemit.

9.What are your plans towards growing your Steem power?

I have plans to increasing my steem power by setting some of my posts to 100 powered up, also by buying steem using SBD and powering up. Also buying steem using fiat and powering up. Also upvoting others posts and delegating steem power to communities.
