Hello great Steemians, I trust you all are doing great. I am happy to share with you the current ongoing Nigerian Federal Government feeding program for primary schools.
The federal government of Nigeria is currently on a project of feeding the pupils of primary schools. The range of the feeding program is from primary one to three.
I was selected to participate by my local government Inspector of NYSC in Aba South to take part in this project.
The collection of this data are done by some selected Corps members across the country and this program serves as Community Development Service (CDS), as we were made to understand that it's our responsibility to carry out this exercise as a service to our nation Nigeria.
The NHGSFP are currently in her second phase of her project. The project started since July 2021 this year and it was at it's first phase.
The project is for all government primary schools. Here in Aba South local government area of Abia state, we were allocated 67 primary schools to cover and the state selected Enumeration officers (EO's) and we were trained for the exercise.
Because of the nature of the work, we were given assistants (AEO's) to enable the project to move faster.
The work was much on us, so there was need for upgrading the project App to ease the smooth running of the project.
In Aba South, we are five (5) EO's as well as our AEO's selected for the NHGSFP and the schools were shared to each officers and assistant.
The program has really made me to know more areas in Aba South local government Area and it's always fun because of meeting with the pupils of the school.
I left my house the the local government at around 8:00am yesterday morning being 12/11/2021. Arriving there, the school Rep were already waiting to take me to Tenant road primary school for the exercise.
We left for the school through Azikiwe road.
Immediately I arrived the school, I brought out my gadgets and pass instruction on how the pupils will be organized.
The exercise has been going on well and it's for the benefit of the pupils in the primary school from the range of primary 1 to 3.
Maximum attention is always given to us as EO's while carrying on this exercise.

I am glad you are very serious with the School feeding Program.Hopefuly the Federal government can reward the outstanding corps members.It is always good to serve humanity and I am happy that you are doing it.

The life of an NYSC member is not always easy but interesting and funfilled. it's interesting to know that the government cares about little children who are enrolled in schools and which to offer where necessary, I hope they accomplish the project till the end with good results.
