Introduction to Garri production
Hello greate Steemians, I am happy to share my experience on how cassava is processed to garri!
Please I will be explaining in different stages and all the photos will come later for easy understanding.

Stage 1
Stage one involves the harvesting of the cassava from the farm, then the harvested cassava will be pealed. After this you wash it and take it to the engine for grinding of the cassava.

Stage 2
After grinding of the cassava to garri, its pressed and the next day it's ready for frying.

Stage 3
Here the garri is sieve before frying. This process involves time to sieve the garri and remove the chalves from it.

Stage 4
Here is the preparation of the fire place and arranging the fried pot. Note you can use small pot or the large frying pot.
You must control the fire so that the garri will not burnt or form molls, when each port is dry, you remove it and put another fresh sieve garri and start frying.
