Contest || Adulthood-work Life Balance || By @justiceanietie
Introduction
Hello greate Steemians, trust you all are doing well? I am excited to join in the contest of adulthood work life balance. I will be giving details of my childhood play and what am now thinking as an adult, striving to strike a life balance.
During my childhood, I have nothing to worry about because I don't have any responsibility to handle. This were because I was still under my parents, the only thing I do is to eat, play games like football, Ludo, Card and go fishing from one stream to another.
I used to feel relax especially when playing card with my friend, we will set #5 (five naira) and start playing from morning to night. At that point even though am called by my parents, I will ignored the called because of the influence of the money set for he game.
In the case of football and fishing, when I leave home no one knows my whereabouts. Fishing was from one river or stream to another and at the end of the day, nothing to write home about. But at that stage, I had nothing to worry about because my parents alway makes food available.
When I see how children plays football now, it reminds me of my days. I always go for football training every 4:00pm until the day I went to contest ball with my opponent and he used his elbow to hit my eyes, which I sustain a very serious injury. Since then I stop playing ball.
Since I came to realize that life is not easy as an adult, I don't have time to spent playing games that don't add values in my life. I hardly play game like card now!
At this stage I find it very difficult to make ends meet all because I never thought of striking a life balance while growing up. As an adult, all my life has been struggling to make ends meet, especially now that I am serving my father's land (NYSC) my siblings do called my for financial assistance not to talk of my beloved mummy who has been my strength through out my Univesity days. But I discovered that the money am getting from serving is not even enough for feeding not to talk of buying of cloths etc.
Thinking on how to strike a life balance, i went into photography but in a long run, I decided to join a lot of Ponzi scheme to see if I can make more money but all was in vain. I even went on in learning forex trading on my own but it was nothing to write home about. Because of the zeal in striking a life balance, I decided to join steemit through a friend @josepha and since I join steemit, am still striving to strike a life balance.
I only observed my exercise early in the morning in
my room or within the compound because exercise contribute 5% of our healthy living. I thank @uzoma24 for this great contest of the week.

It is very true, childhood is a stage of no worries because one has no responsibilities at that stage in life.However,at adult stage,life becomes for difficult because expectations are high and our parents may not be giving is money anymore.
