How to manage or care for an Alzheimer's patients
Honestly it can be stressful to live with an Alzheimer's patients, I can remember years past when my grandma had Alzheimer's issue honestly it wasn't an easy task, at a time everyone else left her on her own because it was becoming worse because she refused to take her medications.
But one quality that can help us care for an Alzheimer's patients without becoming stressed out is patience and endurance, be calm with them and they will love your care.
Always make sure they visit the hospital for check up and make sure they always take their medications.
Always help them to control their diet because obesity can increase the problem of dementia.
Make sure you involve them in whatever you want to do for them like bathing eating and other activities so as not to get them frustrated which can affect you as the caregiver.
Do not just walk to them at anytime of the day for anything but have a proper schedule of when you can care for them in peace and they will comply.
Conclusion
Honestly it is a difficult task to care for elderly ones or those who have chronic illness but when it is handled properly and you see them happy as they continue living it also brings happiness to your face.
I appreciate you all for stopping by.
