Ofe Nsala is one of the best traditional food we have here in Nigeria and it gives a taste that everyone enjoys so much. Ofe nsala is basically known to be prepared among Igbo tribes especially anambra state. And it is also known to be white soup and do you know why? Okay is because when preparing it palm oil isn't included.

And today am gonna be telling you the ingredients used in preparing it.

• Chicken
• Yam powder
• Smoked fish which is known as dry fish
• Ground crayfish
• Maggi
• Sait
• Onion
• Utazi leaves

Steps in preparing It
Firstly you wash your chicken and you keep your dry fish aside don't wash it together then you cook the dry fish and the chicken and don't forget to add the necessary things required such as Maggi and onion so it can have a good taste.

Secondly you peel your yam after you are done with that don't forget to boil it until it gets soft and when you finally found out it's soft then get ready to pound it on till it gets very smooth and you are supposed to use mortal and pestle for it cause that's the only thing I use in pounding unless technology has provided us a machine for that.

Thirdly while you are done with that you can then add the cooked yam in the food processor and you just add a little water just a little water and it must be a hot water then you get it blended until it gets smooth.

Now gently add your yam paste then you leave the soup to get cooked until you discover it is dissolved and the chicken should be well done then you can now add your crayfish, pepper and finally your smoked fish then you add the utazi leaves I told you about and you add your salt and just wait for just 30 seconds depending on how hut your fire is.
