Hi steemians, hope you all doing ok today? My name is Jeremiah and am new to this community. It's a previledge to participate in this mind blowing contest organised by @ngoenyi.

I joined steemit last month, and from then till now I can say I know at least enough about steemit.
Steemit is a block chain-based blogging and social media website, that rewards users with CRYPTOCURRENCY (STEEM) for publishing and curating content. Steemit is also owned by a private company based in New York, and a headquarters in Virginia.

Alot of newbies, myself including find it very difficult to earn in steemit why because most of us are just interested in the reward and not in creating quality contents that can help in the growth of steemit. As a newbie, you have to understand the basics of steemit first in other to grow. Am thankful to @bright-obias @ngoenyi and @focusnow for creating contents that has helped me in understanding the laws and principles of steemit. You can earn in steemit by posting, commenting, and upvote. U might not earn as you're expecting sometimes so you just have to be patient and willing to learn.
Note: upvote is not guaranteed. So just keep using the site to do your posting and use the tag.

You can join communities on steemit where you can post, participate in various Contests, comment and upvote also. I will say, that as a beginner one should stick to one community so as to help groom him/her about steemit. Then as u improve u begin to join other communities. It's also great subscribing to more than one community but the question is are you joining to promote plagiarism?? or you're interested in creating quality contents of your own??. Please know that there's no shortcut to greatness🧡.

After signing up, you will be asked to download your keys. (These are keys used to perform monetary operations so it should be kept private as to avoid theft.). Please do!!!. Now you've signed up so begin to subscribe to #newcomer'scommunity and other community of choice and specialty. MAKE an introduction post about yourself in the #newcomer'scommunity.
There's time for everything so as you're here you'll meet people and contents with many upvotes than yours and as a human it's heartbreaking but I'll advise all steemians to keep making quality contents and be patient, don't envy anyone because u too will not grow if u keep doing so.

You can also improve writing skills by going through contents of some alumini here, taking time to read and observe community rules and regulations, asking questions and joining WhatsApp group chats, telegram channel, discord channel & twitter.
Life itself is all about risk. So am willing to sacrifice my **time, energy, data, to see that I succeed in steemit. Also Keep telling the world at large about steemit and bringing new commers.

so, my plans towards growing my STEEM power

• posting quality and unique contents on steemit and voting for other high quality contents.
• Mining additional STEEM POWER.
• Purchase STEEM or STEEM DOLLAR from a crypto exchange.
