Words and it's powers are one thing most people are aware of but it's usually taken as a joke because it doesn't work at the speed of light, so people look down on words, in some local schools they take insulting others family as a fun to do, but what does these words do to people it cause low self esteem which lead to low progress which then lead to undeveloped society, I will explain how they all get to undevelopment. These insults which are constantly heard by individuals in segments in life be it child, teenager, or adult will lead to that individual believing he is not good enough or he will be fighting the wrong purpose, meaning he will do things for people to praise him which might not be right, and after a while, got those who doesn't fight the wrong causes began to feel inferior which leads to them not putting there best effort in their works and this causes low progress, for those who fight back might end up destroy property and oppressing others along the line of their life and this causes undevelopment same for the low self esteem guys.

So what am I trying to say ?

Am trying to simply depict how words affect the society negatively.

So those words also affect individuals ?

Yes they do, harsh words causes breakdown to people making them sad, causing depression and suicide, specially when it comes from your mentor or someone you hold dear telling you you can't achieve what it is you want to achieve.
Words can also be beneficial is used wisely/effectively, words can be used to turn someone into a new leaf, it can also changes someone perspective/view points, words can save a life, words can grow a business, words can do a lot of good things to but society and individual. Words can extremely beneficial.

So how does words help an individual grow ?

Words can help an individual grow in any endeavor, if good words has been constantly said towards that person either by himself or his friends, words like; I can do this, you are a conqueror, your the best you just have to do more. These words tend to create positive feelings which will lead to positive growth in that individuals life, which will then lead to a developed society.
